Because you're a mean person.  You saw what happened to Lita and you continue to strain her out. >_>  I hate you.

Meanwhile, I still can't beat ToV's final form 3 on Hard mode yet.  Just too much damage, status, and HEALING. Oh god, owned by BOSS healing.

Her gear should eventually give her a hefty chunk of Max MP once you get far enough along, if memory serves.  Once that happens, it's easy enough to toss her enough mana to keep her able to use specials now and then, and still below the (25%, I think?) mark to keep the wings fully out.

First, tag immunity accessory on your fighters to block the status. Baction temple and trading with the cow kid should fetch you two. Or if you want to bother with the trouble, synthesis them.
After that, just abuse Repede with his invinci loop. Tag Maximum Dog on him so he won't run off TP. Duke simply can't sop the dog once the invinci loop gets going. And if you still have trouble, tag on Recall. A hard fight, bu not unbeatable. I took him down with a team level in mid 70s.

Pearl:  Training up a new team for the Battle Tower.  EV trained my Registeel, and bred an Outrage Gabite.  Just need to EV train it.

BvS:  Finally leveled up enough to be able to go Special Jonin.  Then had an excellent run of recruiting/training.  In two days I recruited all B rank allies (normal and Reaper), and have everyone up to level 2 that can be (including that devil Timmy).  Using the Theme that doubles leveling chances, the only person who failed to level up on the first try was Pinky.

Persona 3 Speedrun: Death is not a hunter unbeknowest to its pr- ah screw it.

I played ahead to see what other obstacles are up ahead. Along the way, I crafted a multi-elemental Lilim as well flunked the mid terms. Score. On to Tartarus floors, its 3x Crying tables! One goes Agilao, the next does Maragi. Oh look, Minato's dead >_>. This happened 3 times.

My Lilim doesn't have Bufu, so I have a few solutions. One is to get Asparsus and lock them to death. Problem is, I don't have 3k yen. Guess I can look around for it. The second is to fool around and try and get a Jack Frost Persona and use that instead. Yeah, this is vaguely painful.

Sigma Harmonic- .......................... Did someone from Alpha System infiltrated Square and wrote this plot?? There is just tooo much of parallel universe insanity. Ugh, figuring out what happened to Ch.6's Yuu is giving me headache. I am pretty sure the Yuu that was saved by Ch.6's Nene was the Yuu from Ch.5, but if this is the case, what happened to the Yuu of Ch.6???

You thought a P3 speedrun was going to be anything *but* painful? For shame.

ToV: Finding new and improved ways to crush stuff. Estelle has the insane P.def/magic immunity combo going for her, Karol has the "takes 10% damage below 20% HP" to effectively make him 2-3x more durable, Repede is invincible, Yuri doesn't end combos before the enemy dies, Rita is BlahBlahBlah Meteor Storm + Heavy Magic = pain and death. Can't really make much of the other two. I'm just plain no good with Judy, although she makes beating enemies to death in the air look bloody stylish.

Pretty much just setting up a file to restart the game and grab absolutely everything on Hard/Unknown mode.

Ogre Battle. Yeah. Cause my hands are cramping up.

Honestly, the game has held up pretty well over time, given. Although I am playing it on an emulator so I can skip the more tedious bits of open space and make battles go super-fast (since I normally don't need to do much).

I should also mention that it's one of the few games that has the term "real-time strategy" attached to it and actually means it. I'm looking at you, basically every "RTS" except SupCom.

FF10: Calm Lands fun happy times of silliness and side stuff and OH GOD WHERE IS THAT FUCKING KIDS FATHER I WANT MY CELESTIAL MIRROR DAMN IT!

(Yes, I have the Cloudy Mirror <_<)

(yes, I'm aware there isn't really much to achieve with it now either...but I can give Valefor Break Damage Limit, which is SOMETHING.)

FF3: Replayed the final dungeon arc for bizarre reasons...and beat Cloud of Darkness on my first go this time, even though I had a Sage + Red Mage for all my healing.  Amazing how much help resisting Lightning does.

You don't even need to dickarse around and get Lita sitting around the 25% mark.  It caps out at leaving her with 10% mana, which will suffice with the MP Restore abuse.  If you even care.  Ghosts are common enough that it can be an issue, but swapping to Arlin specifically for them (or something) is fine.  I highly reccomend a Delsus, Lita, Klein party for good smashing times.

Yay Georg <3

SMT-DDS - Lucifer's Call - Started. Saved in the mall after finding Chiako in that club (and after backtracking over the world map and to places I'd already been, picking up new demons in the process whilst wondering where the hell I'm supposed to go next>.>) Thoughts so far - ok first of all - random battles. Fail, fail, fail, fail, fail! Now that's out, the design and atmosphere has been nice. Loved the hospital with it's desertation and it's chaos, blood drops scattered here and there, the demonic theme with summoning circles, symbols and torture chairs. Story is ok

it being upside down to begin with instead of at the end as is norm in RPGs was an interesting way to start things off.

The Dante thing I don't know if I'm supposed to be awed or to think what a massive pile of cheese >.> Well it's the first time I've ever seen Dante in action before since I've never played any Devil May Cry so I suppose a little awe might be ok *^_^*

Party is Bob (BOB!) Hero, Pixie, Will 'o Wisp and the fire faerie. The fire faerie I just picked up and she is awesme <3 I also have Slime, Petra and a green gingerbreadman alien thing in the inventory.

The game is a bit more difficult than I expected (seeing as I picked normal mode just to play through for the story <.<) Forneous gave me a game over the first time because I went in all gung ho and didn't keep an eye on healing. He also killed Willo with a double turn the next time. The insane speed bird type enemies on the world map also gave me a game over due to said and insane speed + hitting weakness on Willo. This was after I'd defeated Forneous but before I'd found another save point - arghh!

Now where the fizzle am I supposed to go.

Once you get to the world map, go west, south (there'll be a building halfway down you can explore in. Keep the Pixie when it tries to leave at that building; the options for doing so should be decently obvious), then east. There's a building at the end to enter; that's your next town/where the next events are.

Idly, the building halfway there that I mentioned has a healing spot right of the entrance.

And you should keep the Pixie yes.

Pokemon Pearl: Defeated Gardenia, finally! Waiting for an hour so I can capture Rotom and fix-up my team a little bit, since Onix can't learn Surf. Too bad, since it would be kick-ass if he learned it XD I also got the Mystery Gift set up so as soon as it hits September 28 I can get the Secret Key to change Rotom's forms.

...CT, it sounds like you're playing Nocturne, not DDS <_<

And regarding Dante?  DMC's try for one of two things:

Immense amounts of style
Immense amounts of cheese

Admittedly, Nocturne precedes DMC3 I assume (Dante is in his DMC2 design there), so the cheese factor didn't quite get obvious yet, meaning they were probably aiming for stylishness.

If you want to see TRUE Dante cheese, go watch the chapter 1 opening of DMC3.  That really does sum up the rest of the game...in like all ways...

MGS4: Finished. Game is fun to play but all story elements overdosed on cheese. Some of this I could laugh at (exclamation mark hair, endgame Drebin, breakdancing master Raiden) but too much of it was just oh god make the retconning stop. Epilogue was a labored infodump. If you're gonna subject us to an overhaul of series history, Kojima, please don't implement it with a sledgehammer. Yeesh.

Game is worth playing but definitely not on a par with Snake Eater. Probably loses out to MGS1 too just for the needlessly convoluted story. Yes, even by MGS standards.

STOP. Spoiler time:

Chapter four stuff: Nostalgia time! Crawling through the ruins of Shadow Moses Island and dodging flashbacks. Good times. Well, except for the gimmick with the Vamp fight. That was lame. Being able to go on a mad rampage with Rex balances this out, though. Also, portable railgun? YES, thanks.

Chapter five stuff: Dammit Meryl, not again. Mantis fight was kind of a hassle, but Otacon's call? Brilliance. "...You put the controller in the second port, right? You didn't think that would work again, did you?" Will definitely look forward to employing Mantis's dolls on a replay. Fight for me, my zombie army!

Endgame story had way too much Xanatos Gambit and It's All Part of the Plan. On the plus side: Crawling through the radiation corridor was gruelling and brutally effective at driving home the whole "Yeah, this is it. Snake's done once this is accomplished" angle. Also, ahahaha Meryl has a gun holster even on her wedding dress.

Will probably replay it at some point just to try out all the other weapons. Anti-material rifle = holy flurking shit. Boss fights should be fun to do again as well. They were definitely the highlight of the main game.

EDIT: Oh yeah, a couple things I neglected to mention. Firstly: argh, MGS4, stop forcing weapons into my active inventory just because Snake was using them in a cutscene. Secondly, there was this one part where I needed to snipe a couple guards to move on and thought I would have to line up two shots really quick? And instead a single bullet went straight through the first guard's head and proceeded to kill the second guard as well. This is admittedly a joy few other games can provide. In fact, I may as well ramble about weapons while I'm at it. Most used:

1. A silenced sniper rifle is all kinds of broken. Not so much in the last two chapters because of scarab swarms and perpetual alaert phases, but this badly owns the earlygame.
2. The shotgun is love. Excellent for taking down frogs. One shot knocks them off their feet, the second kills.
3. As for rapid-fire weapons, the P90 (submachinegun of choice for Liquid's female battallion of death) wins out. Fifty-bullet clip? Yes, thanks.
4. RAILGUN. Take that, gekkos.

Surprisingly not useful? Rocket launchers. You'd think they'd be useful for taking down gekkos (bipedal mechs), but they're really not.

SaGa Frontier: Finished Blue's chapter as Blue, got to Hell Lord as Rouge but absolutely could not beat him even with Overdrive... WTF... Starting to think I was lucky with Blue. If you finish Blue's chapter as Rouge, do you get a real ending? If not, I'm gonna move on...

Started Red's chapter out of frustration with Rouge - I love it. ^____^ Red is awesome. Alkarl is also awesome. Not having a decent party yet is less awesome. I think I'm about to get the super-party of temps, but that means delaying my recruiting even more. Boo.

Playing Golden Sun on handheld at the moment (I know, I change handheld games like I change shirts... still haven't finished the last battle of FE8 OR the last 4 of FE7, Phoenix Wright 3, FF4DS, or the TWEWY bonus chapters - and I want to buy DW4DS at some point, too.) Golden Sun is still surprisingly solid for a game this old. I'm playing around with different classes this time instead of just the DL ones. Djinn summoning is still fun and cheap and remniscent of FF8 GFs in some respects.

Why must Garet suck so much?

The plot for this game is surprising competent, despite a huge number of flaws and pretty much nothing on the character development front. Why can't RPGs get together and create stories that have both likeable/engaging characters/dynamics AND a story that's cohesive and somewhat unpredictable? I don't think that's asking too much... I'm not expecting Shakespeare and I don't even care if the basic plot somehow involves saving the world... But come on RPGs, get it together. It can't be -that- hard to hire at least a -capable- writing team... I see all the elements individually thrown around in different games (some more than others), but so rarely do I get both (or either) in one game... </rant>

Anyway, the main point of this is to gauge my Menardi respect.

Side note: Isaac's GS2 personality is way more cutthroat than what I'd come to think based on GS1.

-Djinn
