PS3 version, yes. I lack the 360ness.

EDIT: Yeah, Xer, the boat was the only thing I really disliked about HL2. There's another vehicle segment later, but the dune buggy's considerably easier to handle than the speedboat.

Eph: Yeah, outside of Vol Luminatio, I avoided the magic like the plague. As far as your money issues go, there's a red glyph in Tristis Pass that when active makes all money drops give $100 coins. So as long as you've got full hearts and are willing to farm for a few minutes, it's all good.

Xer: Same gamertag, but I don't play very often. I main as a Scout (without a headset, though) and Sniper. Engie's easiest to get points on because of turrets and killing sappers adds to it.

While the comp has been down, I've been playing:

FE10 - In part 4 on the requisite desert stage now. Of course, my wyverns are in a different team and all my peggies are with Silver Team. And the desert is full of crossbowmen. This is going to take awhile.

EO2 - In the third stratum, closing in on the boss. Hope he puts up more of a fight then Hellion did.

Soul Calibur 3 - FINALLY got this working on my PS3! Restarted Chronicals of the Sword mode, using the generic Katana style for the main. Is it just me or is this style kinda sick? Also, making a bunch of custom characters based on DnD characters me/Jenna have played. Geek fun is go.

Warriors Orochi 2 - At 99/50 with 10 characters. Slowly but surely grinding along.

I'll be renting Smackdown vs Raw '09 sometime this week, as well. Hope it's more like 6 and 7 and less like 8.

MM9 - So yeah, beat this 30 times. Pretty sure I lack the dedication to perfect it; that's just hardcore.

SH3 - Just beat Jeb Niglas, hit the halfway point, etc. I'm rotating PCs more this playthrough, though I do use Shania the lion's share of the time. Game doesn't do a horrible job of character balance, although Johnny is certainly well subpar outside getting snaps. Having quite a bit of fun with this playthrough, though there's more I wish I was doing, like actually documenting the game's mechanics. Maybe another time.

FE10 - Up to 3-9. Greil Mercenaries SMAAASH has been the MO of the last few battles, so it's nice to see the game reaching the part where it starts rapidfire shifting of which party you control.

Erwin Schrödinger will kill you like a cat in a box.
Maybe.

Should I ask why I should do this, or is the answer spoilerish (though, again, haha ES plot)?

FF3: Picked this up at the obligatory meetup GameStop run, up to the Salamander fight. (already lost once, due to running dry on Phoenix Downs and then getting wiped out by fire breath. Aaaargh.) Party is Luneth as a White Mage, Arc as a Warrior, Reina as a Thief and Ingus as a Monk. Game is fun, and the system definitely has replay possibilities. There are a few design choices like the mandatory-Mini dungeons that just make me headdesk, though.

Anybody got a friend code I can use to get the sidequests unlocked?

How is Cave Story? I keep hearing the title, but I haven't really heard much about it.

Cave Story is a 2-D action/platformer game. It's a lot of fun and you should download it sometime(Hell, I'm sure somebody still has it on their PC and could send it to you).
Don't think of it as a novel. Think of it as a chance to retroactively win every argument you have ever walked away from.

Also a Wii-ware version coming soon with new content. In a word, Huzzah. Also the source of my T-shirt from the DL Mini-meet, for the unaware.

What he said, except change "sometime" to "immediately." I can send it myself if necessary.

Wrath: Hahahaha, Blood Death Knights are all sorts of unkillable broken!

This.  Very much this.

And it's only getting worse.

Soloing five enemies above my enemy without dropping below 75% health is just plain unfair.  Bye bye use for any non-healer class!

Shale, for the record, her name is Refia <_<; </nitpicking>

Kingdom Hearts 2: Finished the replay, didn't get Final Form.  In fact, in attempt to get Final Form against Mansex...I ended up going Anti Form...which I ddin't realize was possible...this ended in rather catastrophic results as the lack of defense or any sort of healing whatsoever is absolutely killer against him.

...and then I learned Mickey just saves you in that fight anyway so...<_<

Elminage: The Dark Witch and the Finger of God DS Remix - Side-project play. Acts like a first person dungeon-explorer. Death is permanent unless resurrection. Character customization is pretty interesting. Presence of Lawful/Neutral/Chaotic is not to be neglected as it affects party formation (lawful can't be with chaotic and vice versa, for obvious reasons) and class restrictions (Only Neutral can have Valks, only Chaotic can have Ninja etc).

It's looking quite neat so far.
19:35:58 (trancehime) there's a specific spot in the game that's for item duping
19:36:14 (Sanae) o.o
19:39:11 (Sanae) I'd love to dupe a second trancehime.
