FE10 - Pushing through this with some more speed, now. Up to the Grann Desert... which should be much less painful this playthrough since my party here is: Micaiah, Sothe, Sanaki, Naesala, Janaff, Ulki, Marcia, Leanne, Jill, Volug, Shinon. Yes, the only two units there with restricted movement are Shinon (who at least has range 3) and Sothe (who has less restricted movement than most and also is needed for treasure hunting anyway).
Other than that... Dawn Brigade dudes struggle a bit in early Part 4, but it's quite manageable. Nolan/Zihark benefit immensely from moving to an army that actually has authority stars, and Meg's tankishness is rather shocking for Tier 2 (she's past Aran now in raw Def, never mind the Res and crit immunity, since crits are big threats in Part 4). Going to crown Aran and probably a few others soon since promo bonuses rule. CRKs are doing pretty well, particularly Marcia, since flight is sexy. GMs vary from hax (Ike, Titania, and Mia are the most hax) to merely very solid, of those I'm using. No shock there, I'm pretty much using all the best ones.
New folks I've picked up...
Pelleas isn't impressing anyone at base stats of course. At Level 12... well, the most notable thing he brings is his own siege tome. Durability suucks. He is good at cutting down Wyvern Riders with his Thunder magic, at least, but he wants that promotion. I'll give him Paragon in 4-5 and he should hit it with no problems.
Lucia brings high speed, but otherwise isn't too impressive... well, good evade because she's on Team 4-authority stars. Fortunately she starts not that far away from promotion, and managed to hit it in this map. Now she's starting to look pretty good - Atk is still low, Luck could be better (crits! We hates 'em!) but avoid/speed are both excellent and hey, swords are cool. Yay Wyrmslayer in particular.
Nealuchi is a lot like Lucia in some ways, except his avoid is so crazy he's invincible when he's transformed. Does have transformation concerns, and the Atk is just the worst this side of Lyre. At least he flies, and is closer to S Strike than I expected. Remains to be seen if he'll pan out into anything worthy of especial note, or if I was just a fool to pass up Skrimir/Sigrun/... (actually, I've used most of the other high-level PCs) to get him a spot on the team.
