FF3: Earth Fang get! Also, I've got a level 71 thief, which means Gungnir very soon, and then I can finally switch someone permanently out of a Tier 1 job (Ingus went back to Monk because the currently available claws are extremely badass).

Four horsemen is really quite fun.  I find the whole place a lot of fun.  Everyone seems to be complaining about how easy Naxx is and don't seem to really have it in any perspective.  We were decent enough to at least be relatively successful at T5 at least and we are only rolling with our good people these days.  Of course the execution checks are going to be easy.

People that move in Aran's Flame wreath or still are working on Nightbane/Netherspite at the end of Burning Crusade just aren't going to beat something like the Construct Quarter.  There is so much shit in there that will just fuck you if you don't know how to play.

Edit - And of course the promise is that Ulduar is going to be hard also helps.

Took out the 25-man version of KT last night.  Encounter's mostly the same, but felt easier, for the most part, and that's compared to fighting the level 60 version in BT/Sunwell gear.  Probably because the MC only hit 1~2 people, rather than a third of the raid like it used to.

PS4- King L is down. I think I'm underleveled at the moment because the king was OHKOing most of my party.

Probably a little bit. I've played the game three times and Lashiec is usually a bit shy of OHKOing people. I don't go out of my way to level; just tend to never run away.

WA3 -  Just completed the first chapter of the game. Enjoying it so far, especially since I'm a sucker for anything western :) I do have to say though, its a lot of "talk to a person to figure out your basic compass direction, beat dungeon there, repeat"

Eternal Poison -  My first story, I'm using Thage. I just made it through the first section of Besek and defeated Morpheus. Also chose the left path and did that battle. The battle animations had to be turned off. Their load times annoyed me to no end unless I was doing something else (like browsing the forums here, with some friends talking, etc)

Also have Persona 4 preordered, I'll be happy to snag that one for when I'm done playing, well, every other game I own...  :'(
My god, I have too many PS2 games... Unbeaten ones at that...

...

HOLY SHIT.

While the Demon Path can get a little ramble-y, it's normally quite fun to watch the horror play out. Wait until you get to the scene where the entire casts' various psychological dysfunctions are all presented one after another in seamless conversation. It's like a symphony of despair, and you're the conductor! *happy smiley face goes here*

Switch to the middle path when you get a chance, you need to beat a boss there to get her good ending (it's the second-to-last map on the middle path).  Also, make sure you capture all bosses (and get all good endings) if you want to unlock the final story.

---

Eternal Poison - Up to the fourth story now.  Not much new here.  >.>  In the middle of the second stratum now.

There's multiple endings? Aww, crap. I'm terrible at these things. Luckily I was planning on switching paths anyways, just to see what its like. But please, no more about how to get endings and such, I'll see if I can get them myself :)

Also, I've epically failed the capture all bosses phase already, since I couldn't do near enough overkill damage to the first one (That weird wolf behind the giant door). Huzzah!

Just outta curiosity, how do you know all this already? Walkthrough, store-bought guide, peeps told you? Just wondering, 'tis all :)

Oh, and thanks for the info, much appreciated :)

You would never actually figure out how to get Thage's on your own.  There's no warning at all.  The other two you can get just fine if you pay attention, so yeah, I won't bother telling you how to get those (unless you really want me to).

Also, I've epically failed the capture all bosses phase already, since I couldn't do near enough overkill damage to the first one (That weird wolf behind the giant door). Huzzah!

Well, if you do want to unlock the final story, you'll have to redo up until that point.  Not hard, there's New Game+.  No biggie.

Just outta curiosity, how do you know all this already? Walkthrough, store-bought guide, peeps told you? Just wondering, 'tis all :)

Niu mentioned it earlier in this topic.

Niu is amazing.

CTDS: So it's basically Chrono Trigger. Again. Except it isn't horrible on the loading like the PSX version so I thought it'd be a good timekiller. Too bad about the arena though, it's kinda stupid. I was stuck with Emo Niu until just recently, and I can't break CT with shiny stuff unless I get Super Emo Niu, except breaking CT is the most pointless thing ever so it all balances out anyway~

FE10 - Pushing through this with some more speed, now. Up to the Grann Desert... which should be much less painful this playthrough since my party here is: Micaiah, Sothe, Sanaki, Naesala, Janaff, Ulki, Marcia, Leanne, Jill, Volug, Shinon. Yes, the only two units there with restricted movement are Shinon (who at least has range 3) and Sothe (who has less restricted movement than most and also is needed for treasure hunting anyway).

Other than that... Dawn Brigade dudes struggle a bit in early Part 4, but it's quite manageable. Nolan/Zihark benefit immensely from moving to an army that actually has authority stars, and Meg's tankishness is rather shocking for Tier 2 (she's past Aran now in raw Def, never mind the Res and crit immunity, since crits are big threats in Part 4). Going to crown Aran and probably a few others soon since promo bonuses rule. CRKs are doing pretty well, particularly Marcia, since flight is sexy. GMs vary from hax (Ike, Titania, and Mia are the most hax) to merely very solid, of those I'm using. No shock there, I'm pretty much using all the best ones.

New folks I've picked up...

Pelleas isn't impressing anyone at base stats of course. At Level 12... well, the most notable thing he brings is his own siege tome. Durability suucks. He is good at cutting down Wyvern Riders with his Thunder magic, at least, but he wants that promotion. I'll give him Paragon in 4-5 and he should hit it with no problems.

Lucia brings high speed, but otherwise isn't too impressive... well, good evade because she's on Team 4-authority stars. Fortunately she starts not that far away from promotion, and managed to hit it in this map. Now she's starting to look pretty good - Atk is still low, Luck could be better (crits! We hates 'em!) but avoid/speed are both excellent and hey, swords are cool. Yay Wyrmslayer in particular.

Nealuchi is a lot like Lucia in some ways, except his avoid is so crazy he's invincible when he's transformed. Does have transformation concerns, and the Atk is just the worst this side of Lyre. At least he flies, and is closer to S Strike than I expected. Remains to be seen if he'll pan out into anything worthy of especial note, or if I was just a fool to pass up Skrimir/Sigrun/... (actually, I've used most of the other high-level PCs) to get him a spot on the team.

Erwin Schrödinger will kill you like a cat in a box.
Maybe.

Mana Khemia - So far, the gameplay is very fun. Fast paced and smooth combat is definately a plus. Grow book is similar to sphere grid, which is a good thing since sphere grid was awesome. Item creation is easy and painless as well. Frankly, if I had to sum up the gameplay so far in one word, I'd go with "intuitive". Nothing has made me go "huh" or felt like it would work better if they just(insert change here).

My only complaint is about having to sit around with my thumb up my ass once night falls, since the one time I tried to press on at night, I got overkilled massivel by the first fight I ran into thanks to the Night Boost.

Character-wise, everyone's amusng so far, though Flay gets on my nerves quickly.

Suikoden Tactics- Up to Chapter 9 or so. They do a good job of oh EXPLAINING THE ENTIRE PLOT OF S4 much better than the actual game did. Good to know all that stuff about the tree. Coulda been brought to my attention YESTERDAY! Interesting game. I'm enjoying it. Archers rule and elemental squares are easy to break.

Gate: You can return to base and head back out to wherever you were if night falls. You should be able to tackle nighttime enemies once you pick up a 4th/5th party member.

MK-Chapter 6. Have almost everything ready to burn up all the Free Time blocks, just gotta clear out Heaven's Road of any useful items and then alchemize what I can. Switched Flay out so I could get Roxis and Anna slowly up to speed. I guess I'll burn up my Free Times getting Roxis a Mana so he stops sucking so badly.

GH3-I've gotten past Mosh I twice. Both have led to failure, one just 7% away from sweet, sweet release. If I had just managed to nab that Star Power...at least I know it's possible now, just going to take some more practice. When I wasn't doing that, I nabbed some more 5-stars that eluded me (Stricken, Knights of Cydonia, Cult of Personality, Holiday in Cambodia) and improved some scores with no star gain. And yet I still can't do the GY-->Y0 chord shift in The Seeker worth shit. Go figure.
Don't think of it as a novel. Think of it as a chance to retroactively win every argument you have ever walked away from.

SRW@2 - HOLY FUCK IBIS SUCKS.

You're suprised?  Honestly, Ibis and Arado were pretty weak compared to Sanger and Kusuha, especially since I like real mains over supers.

I've been playing Shit or Fallout 3 in non-Grefter terms.  It's pretty addicting right now and blowing heads into 20 different pieces never gets old. Yeah, I got the Bloody Mess perk but what else was there at level 8?  I focused on Sneak and Lockpicking although Sneak seems entirely pointless when enemies can still see me from quite a distance (and mostly before I can see them) and I can just reload after a failed pickpocket attempt.  The game wants you dump all your skill points into Science and Lockpick with the amount of hacking and jacking you have to do and it's worth a lot of exp.  I think I earned an entire levels worth of exp just stealing and hacking everything in Rivet City.

Too glitchy though.  The game froze two times just entering town and Lucas Simms mysteriously died while escorting Mr. Burke somewhere, just keeled over and died.  I thought Mr. Burke did it but he just stood still the entire time.  I couldn't kill him either without everyone in Megaton after my ass.  In fact, every town seems to love attacking me for no reason and I have good Karma.  Even the family after I bullshited my way of getting Ian back started to shoot me for no reason, well unless Hidden status isn't really hidden because I loot every town dry first.

CTDS: Sleeping through the boring as hell normal sidequest missions, just have the forest left. Lost Sanctum had some neat rewards (Haste Helm/Valor Crest (crit rate up (they love putting this everywhere) and 50 % counter rate, Ayla only)), but they make you climb a two screen mountain up and down like five times in a row all for fetchquesting. Pretty Ko level design...~

Kimi no Yuusya: Episode 23. Very close to the end of the game now, SPOILER CHAR joined the team, and fighting... Well, again, spoilers, so not really willing to say. The boss now is probably one of the most threatening I've fought so far, ever. Not a lot much to say at the moment, will make a proper post once I finish this game in a bit.
19:35:58 (trancehime) there's a specific spot in the game that's for item duping
