Because we can. It's a season to bring out all those Halloween and cheap horror themed characters fro some action. Vampires, werewolves, witches, ghosts, and many more all in the name of fun. Battles will be 3 on 3 matches where team members have a characteristic/type in common. Specific format is to be determined based on how many teams end up participating.
Here's the checklist of loose guidelines:
- Type or characteristic first followed by character. Ex. vampire: Brahms (VP) scarecrow: Scarecrow (Wizard of Oz)
- I'm playing fast and loose with categories. As long as it's associated with Halloween, spookiness, and or horror, it will be considered. "Sexy (whatever) outfit" is often associated with the season and thus is a valid category, as just one possible example. If in doubt, go ahead and nom someone.
- Up to 12 noms per person. Naturally, there's no pressure to actually use them all if you have trouble coming up with ideas. You can nominate full teams, individual characters, or both. In groups that don't have full team nominated, participants will be chosen at random when it comes time to draw up teams.
- In the name of having interesting matches, no high godlikes. Overkilling the opponents in one shot the moment they get a turn is too powerful. Other than that, anyone's fair game with regard to power levels. It is welcome to nominate someone puny if that's what amuses you.
- While it's probably best to stick to characters with a stat topic entry, in practice I'm going to be lax about this. Though if all or most of someone's noms are from non-RPGs, I'll regard it as a troll post and ignore the whole thing.
- Please specify any differences from a character's regular dueling setup, if applicable. Alternate setups are welcomed so long as they are disclosed ahead of time.
The plan is to roll out right around Halloween, either the day before or after since I'll be offline on the 31st.
