Citan gets a unanimous victory over Rubicant, whose kind offer of letting Citan pick the battlefield ended him up in some special room in chains designed to trap his powers.  Meanwhile, there were differing results in godlike as Kuja struck down the demonic Dracula with the aid of a holy robot in Alexander, while the demonic Bhaalspawn smashed the holy (??) robot KOS-MOS to pieces.

Anyway, finals, so last week.  Vaguely considered having some extra bonus (Plot Power tournament, giant mechs edition?  A failoff between the worst of Light?), but just keeping it short and sweet instead.  Since repeats of a character in a Plot Power tourney can get somewhat tiresome, I think I'll hold off starting a new tournament quite so soon, at least myself.  Any thoughts or suggestions for next time?  (Aside from less Seifer and Lucia in Light, yes, fine.  Was hoping to have some characters with both strong powers as well as big weaknesses show up, and they ended up above the curve.)

Fou-Lu (BoFIV) vs. Rozalin (Disgaea2) - No vote, but as a random comment, I was surprised at how solidly Fou-Lu beat Myria...  thought that'd be closer.

Kuja (FF9) vs. Bhaalspawn (BGs) - Bhaalspawn is anti-magical.  Feels like the type who could shrug off a single super-blast and force a straight fight, which Kuja is less suited for.

Citan (XG) vs. Ashley Winchester (WA2) - This feels like Ashley vs. Georg mark II?  Except Citan has experience taking on these insanely powerful alternate forms and locking them up.  Ashley isn't really a first-class mind, but Ashley doesn't have many weaknesses that could be exploited by Citan either, unlike Id?  Unsure.

Middle
Cherenkov (XS) vs. Jean (Lunar 2) - Tio would win this handily, and Jean...  feels like she'd barely come through after a long exhausting battle?  Cherenkov is a close-in physical fighter, which plays into Jean's hand here.

Lucia (Lunar2) vs. Tony (WA4) - Lucia disrespect.  Also, if Tony could beat any one of the WA4 mains in a duel, it'd probably be Yulie, and Lucia feels like Yulie --.

Cherenkov (XS) vs. Jean (Lunar 2) - Cherenkov.  Cherenkov...alone, doesn't have that much?  This is a fail-off.  Neither are that great.  Xenosaga generally means more plot power, though.

Kuja (FF9) vs. Bhaalspawn (BGs) - Bhaalspawn is the most powerful being on his world.  However, Kuja also is and he blows worlds up.  (Yes at the time Kuja >>> Garland >>> Zidane, who is only supposed to pass him in power eventually.  As for Necron... well we never see Necron blow worlds up!)

Kuja (FF9) vs. Bhaalspawn (BGs) - Kuja can't use that planet destroying power power at will considering he needed to go through the trouble of trying to destroy the crystal to blow up Gaia (and his second Ultima isn't even powerful enough to kill off Zidane an co). Bhaalspawn may be a weaker god, but even the weakest FR gods can turn the likes of Elminster into a bloody smear with little effort.

That's a overstatement. Zeta is her equal, and Baal is better than them all put together. And none of them beats the Mediators either. Rozalin is indeed high on the scale of N1 verse, but definitly not the strongest.

Ahh yes, forgot about Baal, never really bothered to go that far.  Okay how about this.

Rozalin crushed the Laharl with ease, Laharl blows up entire starfleets and what not with ease.  Also Baal is... so far beyond end game due to Disgaea leveling that I can't think of anyone who even comes close, unless another N1 game has similar leveling.  Either way, Fou-Lu loses to either of the Godlikes to me, no way he takes this division down.

Odd to see this. If compared, Zeta usually is the one who got considered to be the the better of the two more often. Afterall, Zeta IS the strongest Overlord of the universe right now. And consider Laharl as Zeta's equal is kinda insulting to Zeta. Zeta isn't that puny. Laharl at best is in the same league as Pram in D2/PB time and the same league as Volvolga in D3. Laharl only reached the more higher tier rank of the Overlords just very recently.
