FFT was an obvious #1 for me, though the 3 below it aren't too far apart and it was hard to actually choose between them.  Suiko 3 isn't bad but clearly worse than the others, and Suiko 5 has way too many issues, while not being a bad game, to really be this high to me.
Note: I technically played a bit of TotA, but not going to rate it, despite the technicality of playing the full game =/= required, just playing some.

FF12 I like, FFX-2 is merely below average, FFTA more so, but neither are horrid.  XS3 has really bad plot but that's less offensive than 100 hours of nothing (DW7), and horrible everything (GG and Hoshi).  For the last two, I just Hatbotted.

Good format because it makes the differences in how much we like certain games actually matter. Good result. This format works much better for things that can be easily tiered, such as preference in games, than it does for things like battles where there are a ton of complex rock-paper-scissors cycles.

Needs a complete top-to-bottom results list, like all the old list tourneys had.

A shame about S3's downturn in recent years, but I'm not going to complain about FFT kicking ass.

That's certainly fair. Not like the winner was in any doubt. Speaking of which, that was less close than I expected, though in hindsight FFT does seem more likely to excel in a list-type setting here compared to straight one-on-ones. A crazy number of us rank it #1.

Yeah, I expected FFT to win. It would have taken a really strongly popular niche title to even put a dent in FFT's huge lead (Brig:GE or FO2) and that would have been a close run thing. Losers was as much a matter of who voted, everything besides FF12/TO/X-2  had a shot there.

Also, think the tournament went pretty well, barring the victor of Best RPG ever (keep it out next time).  Oh well, fuck FFT.  Damn stupid game.  Also, Hoshi at the bottom is stupid.  FF12 really, really should take its place, as Dhyer said.
