You of all people should know how awesome Brett Favre is when he's on.

Speaking of that, seen the Packers's injury report for the week? I sure love having no healthy players in the secondary!

I do, but him being on isn't USUALLY six touchdowns. That's pretty much the best game he's ever had, and thus, it's not just that's he's on, it's that something is wrong with the other guys.

Bizarro NFL returns. Fins beat the Chargers, Atlanta beats Green Bay, and SAGE and the Texans nearly pull one out against Indy. Way to choke, Sage.

Insofar, the Patriots are taking an ass-kicking from the Niners, of all people. You didn't even mention that.

Kellen Williams might miss Cleveland's MNF game. Apparently he's in a Cleveland hospital because his testicles have swelled to the size of grapefruits. That's individually, not an estimate of the total circumfrence, by the way. I imagine it would make it difficult to do any financial transactions, since they'd think you're robbing a bank carrying around a sack of that size.

And... god damn if my teams aren't playing like I remember them playing, for once.

Romo sidelined for a month? If that report's true Dallas is probably fucked sideways.

This is the season for high-profile injuries. Brady, pretty much everyone on the entire Packers defense, Trent Edwards, the entire Seahawks receiving corps (mentioned because an entire team's WR's being hurt at once is high profile), and now Romo?

We can only hope this leads to a Super Bowl show-down between the Lion's entire 2nd string and the last five guys healthy on the Colts.

I was sad by the Bears loss to the Falcons. But then again, it seemed like they didn't give a shit about the game until the end. This season is full of a lot of upsets, which is echoed in college football upsets too. Like fuck me, why the fuck is Alabama ranked no.2?  The god damned Carolina Panthers no.2? Ugh. :| Also, the game with the Bears vs. the Colts was funny from the highlights. Damn the South and its failed airings of good football games :(

It's ironic we're seeing a near record number of injuries after they changed the player safety rules.

Al Harris and Atari Bigby will be back after the bye. Maybe the Packers are sort of getting healthy, that'd be wonderful.

So where do you think Condi Rice will play at SF? Free Safety? Or do you think they think she's related to Jerry Rice and they'll try her out at Wide Receiver?

Fantasy Football update!

In my money league, my team is 8-1 with Kurt (MVP) Warner leading my troops to 8 straight victories, including this past week over the former undefeated team in the league.

Warner
S. Jackson
Jones Drew
T. Hightower
B. Marshall
G. Jennings
S. Holmes
D. Clark
Bucs D
Eagles D
ROB BIRONAS!

more or less is my team.

~

In my other league my team is a little less inspired...

5-4 record, I have not had a string of consecutive wins or losses all seaosn long!

~

Oh yeah, GO DOLPHINS!

and Bucs are going to the superbowl, despite losing to a shitty dallas team...somehow...

Rex Grossman can be 'accidently' crushed for the right price. (Beat the fucking Vikings)

But who does that leave to fill the mighty shoes of Kyle Orton? Is Griese even around? I have no fucking idea. Maybe we can get the towelboy to give it a shot.

Griese was traded to the Bucs.  The Bears third stringer is Caleb Haney, some undrafted scrub. Pray he never sees the field.

Orton said he may be ready to go against the Packers. You have that to look forward to! (Aside from the Int, Grossman didn't do that badly against the Titans...)

That was a pretty bullshit game all around, though.

And yeah, I heard about Orton, but what he says and what he does on Sunday is likely going to be two different things. I certaintly hope he rests up the leg and doesn't make it worse by playing the Packers. He's the closest thing the Bears have going for a franchise quarterback, and they need him to make a full recovery bad.

Send Derek Anderson to the Bears.  He'll finally get a defense and he'll finally get to play in a city where Brady Quinn isn't worshipped as a God!

Also, NFC West is just awesome this year.

Falcons/Dolphins superbowl for epic goodness please!
