So either Favre retires this year when the Jets don't surprise anyone by not making it past Cheaty McCheat and the Pats for the playoffs, or the Jets win the Super Bowl eight times in a row.

One of the two.

Maybe there is justice. Brett Farve will lead the Jets past the Patriots twice, which knocks them to 7-9 and thus missing the playoffs for a bona fide post Super Bowl slump.

Super-robots sent from the future to sow disappointment and destruction don't slump.  Not until they kill John Connor, anyway.

Rocky: I don't think that's very funny...
Bullwinkle: Neither do they, apparently!

Bucs beat the Pats.

That's why God spared Tampa of Hurricane Fays destruction.

That is all.

Bucs to win the Super Bowl based on Madden 09.  Their playbook has a direct halfback snap play and you can glitch the game and make it directly snap to a wide reciever or tight end and always get around 6 yards.

I wouldn't go by anything Madden has to say. He is like the owrst sports announcer/analyst ever. How about that Brett Favre trade.....unbelievable. Green Bay will never be the same again. Does anyone think the Jets are a playoff team now? Chad Pennington got released to the Dolphins...right? My team is the Redskins. They are not the worst playoff team ever.....the Bills are. Who makes it to four superbowls in a row and loses them all. The Redskins had two players inducted into the hall of fame this year. Art Monk and my man Darell Green baby. Darell Green was one of the best cornerbacks of all time. They are 3-0 so far this pre-season. I think this is there year, they are my team. I HATE THE PATRIOTS.......except Randy Moss. He always has been the man. I think Colt Brennon form Hawaii is the man. I wish they would start him over Campbell. He has looked great so far this year. Clinton Portis needs to get his act together. He is starting to go dowhill. I can't wait for the NFL season to start. I love football. My college team is the Michigan Wolverines. What team drafted the running back Hart?
I think......I think I want to be forgiven. Mhhm. More than anything.

The Bills can't possibly be the worst playoff team ever. By your own admission, they made it to four Super Bowls in a goddamn row. FOUR. Nobody else has ever gone to four consecutive Super Bowls.

Conversely, the '08 Redskins managed to make it in to the playoffs despite their own shittyness due to their uncanny ability to break even, which was just so inspiring. Fortunately for them, there are only about four good teams in the NFC.

The 07'-08' Redskins are to playoff teams as Shion is to chaste scientist girls.

Check Rotoworld.com for sports news, it's generally the quickest and draws from a bunch of sources.

Bucs, Phins, Jags all 3-1 in pre-season.

That is all.

edit: Tampa lost to Jax, Miami lost to Tampa, and the Jags lost to Miami.

Preseason means jack and shit.  Speaking of which, I can't wait for the real season to start.

Congraturation! The Dolphins can win if the other team doesn't play their starters.

I look forward to the roflstomping Miami will again receive this year.

We're less than a week from the start of the regular season. How do you guys think your teams are gonna do?

Washington: 8-8. Good squad's held back by a new coach and various learning pains.

Packers are going to go... I'm going to say 11-5. Maybe 12-4 if Rodgers really DOES prove to be covered in anti-Cowboy spray.

Bucs will go 10-6

Miami will be less impressive, though I think Ted and Chad will have some chemistry...on and off the field. I'm guessing 6-10ish.

The Jags might take the division for the 1st time in a long time. I'll say, 13-3.
