Can it be worse than VP2 balance, though?

VP2's twinking requires at least knowing the system, VP1 was far worse about that. (Hay guys this autoitem/guts thing sounds balanced for a game where enemies either blitz you or suck horribly!!) Tri-ace games have had that problem in general come to think of it.

Yeah, no shock there. Tri-Ace generally equals horrendous broken. And I'd really say that both VP1 and 2 are equally broken, just in different ways. VP1 enemies at least kinda warranted things like Auto-Item and Guts to some degree, VP2... they gave the horrendous broken in addition to failure randoms and bosses, which makes it more overkill.

At least VP1 skills aren't retardedly obscure to get.

Judging from chat comments, I think Niu meant that comment in the sense of it making the game a lot harder/worse than making it really easy. >_>;

No, they just make the game borderline unlosable. They save the real stupid obscure for the main plot! Yet another reason VP1 fails.

In one of the routes, I would say YES.
The enemy set ups aren't nbeatable but simply mind buggling in a disgusting degreee. And the final map is ridiculously cheap.

Resurrecting an old favorite in the wake of SRWZ news. Also, Beck rules.

The Big O character. Haven't seen the anime. The band rules too, yes.

My favorite episode. But Beck in general was awesome (he's actually a Beck reference, with the yellow suit, and Beck's first album being Mellow Gold).
