Odd Eye vs Roger Bacon DragoonJay@excite.com: A low chanting could be heard throughout the arena. Words from long-since dead languages entered the ears of the spectators. And slowly, and surely, the unbelievers began to chant... Odd Eye entered the battle arena and was surrounded by the arcane cries of the onlookers. Although he could not see their daze, he could sense it. And at the centre of it all lay the praying form of Albert Simon. “What are you doing to these people, Bacon?” asked Odd Eye. “It became necessary to augment the power of my spell. Rest assured that no harm will come to them as a result of this.” “It’s not them I’m worried about.”said Odd Eye, the Counter Sword at his beck and call. But before he could begin his attack, the chant ended. “Oculus horribilis!” Acting upon instinct, Odd Eye opened his eyes to release a devastating beam before the spell could take effect. But no beam escaped his face. Instead, something equally amazing made its way out of his eyes. Sight. “But why?” asked Odd Eye when he could finally find his voice. “I saw suffering and believed it my duty to alleviate it.” replied the Cardinal. “What’s the catch?” At this, Bacon turned away. “The incantation isn’t permanent. It will last as long as I do not lose consciousness. That includes falling asleep. I won’t insult your intelligence by explaining what that means.” The meaning was not lost on Odd Eye. The spell had assuredly weakened Roger, and even without the range advantage, the Greater Devil would likely win this match and move on to the Finals. But that would mean surrendering the only chance he may have to ever see a sunset or the faces of his fellow fighters. For him, the choice was obvious. Sheathing his sword, Odd Eye left the arena to explore the strange new world open to him. “Funny that such a selfless act could have such selfish motives.” said a smiling Bacon. Odd Eye: 92 Roger Bacon: 119 Orgodemir vs Sephiroth angelicus85@hotmail.com: Sephiroth enters the Arena, as calm and collected as can be. Orgodemir also enters calmly. "Hey Sephiroth, what do you think of this!" he exclaims, as he transforms into his serpent form. Sephiroth merely smiles. Minutes later, Orgodemir is impaled on an exceptionally large stake. Sephiroth's words to Orgodemir at the end of the match,"Although much harder to do on you than on the Midgard serpent, the principle remains the same..." Orgodemir: 106 Sephiroth: 140 ANONYMOUS Orgodemir: Huge nasty snake thing with a bad attitude. He obviously has the size advantage over Sephiroth, and can cover great distances with his tentacles. Wow, he ACTUALLY might scratch him! INCREDIBLE! Sephiroth: "....." *Impales Orgodemir on a giant broken tree like a shish-kabob along with the Midgar Zolom.* As you can see, size is clearly not an issue, as in almost all RPGs. Speed is. Massively powerful gravity, physical, and fire attacks are also issues. And my personal favorite, the instant-kill.... babbwa@vcu.edu Sephiroth, post Kingdom Hearts, is just far too powerful with his new capabilities. Between Shadow Flare, Supernova, and Sin Harvest, plus Masamune, the ability to fly, and no real weakness, the fight is short and brutal. And so what if Orgodemir has more than one form? Sephiroth has at least three himself. Orgodemir won't be able to rely on his protean abilities
