Parry has good defense and isnt slow (only wife and Madchen are faster of the humans). His HP also gets much better once you level him to about 30 or so. Where are you getting that? Game best damage with zap spells. Sure Parry isnt as tanky as a Golem or something like that, but we arnt including monsters. I'm also very picky about accessories and stuff like that, so Lightning resistance isnt as common to me as most people. (I only allow inital/plot/unique accessories)
Then again, Jowy is more durable than I thought. To me Parry and Jowy both have massive damage (Kazap and Black sword rune) but I think Parry has more tricks with better armor resistances and a better physical with the zenthenian sword. I could switch them though now that I think about it.

I havent played either game. Still looking for P4 and after looking into Wild Arms XF realized it might be fun to play. Well there goes another game on my backlog.

After having looked up and realizing that XF is a Strategy game, that actually looks like fun. It actually does seem like an interesting rank. Yes to PC's , no to bosses. We can always rank the bosses later if its a good draw.

I havent been able to FIND the game where I live. Its not a matter of being slow to play. It took me years to find Valkyrie Profile used. Still havent been able to find Persona 4 or DDS2 used. (found DDS, bought it, then found another one at the same store a month later and its still there o_O)

Sancho is also the only person who has Whistle, so I know some people level him up just for that ability. Whistle helps while trying to catch monsters since it calls a battle. I usually kept him in my wagon just for that ability.

Big NO to Persona 4 as I want to play it eventually and the DL will spoil it for me if the killer gets ranked.
Since WA5 failed, I dont really want to see XF ranked unless we are sure its better. Star Ocean is a better PSP ranking to me.

The Saber in Gen 1 and Gen 2 are technically different monsters. Saber in Gen 1 can only reach level 20 (hes controllable, but he wont listen to you since he has less than 20 wisdom), while after you get him in gen 2 he can learn moves and reach 99.

I think the current system works best for rerankings. For the one match idea, someone could spoil someone and end up in the wrong division.
and Kill the team match. I am never able to vote since usually there is one finalist in one of the divisions I cannot vote on. Even if you could vote on 7 out of 8 characters, you wouldnt be able to vote on the team match. Kill it.

I use Bonus experience to level up Mist and or Rolf, and then Elincia and or Ena. (FE9) The only other use would be to "top off" a characters level if they are extremely close to gaining. Equal bonus experience to all characters just feels wrong to me.
Just for fun, once I hoarded all my BEXP and gave it to Fiona so I could take her to end game. There may not be enough to get everyone to max level, but once you pick 12 or so characters, they tend to max out, thus my "everyone at the same level" approach.
And yes, Boyd does get more bonus exp than Largo. I got Largo up to max level without bonus EXP, Boyd might need it to reach max level since he starts lower leveled. (dont ask why I was using Largo)

If you guys are really despirate, I'm willing to help in a pinch. I have every other weekend off of work, so if you know matches ahead of time and its a character I know, just PM me and I can do a write up. I tend to be able to do most obscure characters too.

For me, the tournement is the main draw of the site. I've been here for years, and after work I will go and say, its Saturday, time to vote on the RPGDL!
I came here from the Fire Emblem stat link on GameFaqs, for reference. Been here since about season 18 or so (I remember I was like WTF when Ted downgraded from Godlike then)
I support making the DL season 7 weeks instead of 6, and the 7th week we could have a not ranked bonus match or something like that. I think I was the only person that loved Not Ranked, even though I couldnt vote on alot of matches, I liked seeing characters from games I liked but were not ranked in the main DL.
I think the matches need writeups so people stay interested and maybe draw new people. I can advertise the site on other boards that I visit if need be. However the matches for the results do not necessarily need write ups there.
All in all, I love this site and the people. However, if the main tournament left, I'm not sure how often I would visit the site.
