Massimo (vs Tear)
« on: October 14, 2009, 05:57:45 AM »
Some would look upon Steel Massimo, at his story and how he came to work with the legendary Mavrick hunter, X, and think him a gentle giant.  A warrior poet whose size hides a surprising depth and grace.  This is not true.  Massimo, as a fighter, is about as subtle as a brick to a glass house.  But in this case, against the Fonist Tear, that's just fine.  After all, while Tear is a healer, normally the bane of slow, hard hitting fighters like Massimo, her fonic spells have considerable windup, and she lacks the ability to capitalize on Massimo's elemental weaknesses.  Put it together, and this means Massimo can take his time, build up his Energy, and unleash his Action Trigger, killing Tear in a single blow.  Not elegant, but Massimo never was.
