Because starting the topic one day before it starts is a sure-fire way to drum up excitement.

Me again even though I'm pretty sure everyone already has it:

Ready to roll!

Here I am: http://nanowrimo.org/en/participants/rowand

Going for sci fi this year, which means I need to pay particular attention to getting ahead when I can. Sci fi is to fantasy what research is to stream of consciousness.

Hey Gatewalker, think I could convince you to take on my FF6-hack's script as your NaNoWriMo project?

It is notably shorter than a NaNo project, but there's also more research involved - probably evens out. Thoughts?

Was thinking of writing for the site this year as NaNaNanana Nanananannana nanananaaaa entry but work says no at the moment.

Fudo isn't finished yet so this year is lame.

I was attempting the One-Day-Wonder but I feel asleep on Holloween.  I hate waking up in the AMs!  Then during the rest of the day I was magically tired and am still making pathetic excuses for why I haven't finished and bitch bitch bitch moan moan moan.

Of course, my shiny new net book that was lovingly acquired for moi and had been, in its four days of life, a wonderful boon to the general process of writing due to convenient portability, decided life was not worth living and went dead.

Thank you to whatever random cosmic forces convinced me to upload what I had had to Google Docs. I only lost yesterday's progress.

So annoyed.

Not participating this year, too much labwork and midterm making to do, but good luck to everyone who is~

I've got lesson plans and studying to make it so I can function in this land that I can't function in, so I will be foregoing the process this year.

Not like I've done it any year or anything like that.  But this time my excuse is a real one.

Soooooo... the sci fi idea is shelved. On to the fantasy novel!

Finished at the Night of Writing Dangerously. Over 15,000 words in about 5 hours. Got to ring a big fancy bell, and I got a free 2011 Winner t-shirt. Most importantly, I got that shit version out of the way so I can spend time on something more worthwhile. And I still have days to spare. Woo-hoo!
