Nier vs LoM Goodness this week is full of tough decisions.
Final Fantasy 6 vs Castlevania Symphony of The Night: I was thinking the other day about FF6's music and how well it works in game. One of the best examples of why FF6 music is so effective is Forever Rachel. In general, the whole Locke/Rachel plot line is pretty dumb and creepy, but goodness, Forever Rachel is one of the most moving songs I've heard in a video game. It adds a huge amount of weight and tone to the scenes that it's used in that they wouldn't have otherwise.
Muramasa vs Chrono Cross: Another really close one. Gale being the most frequently heard song is what tips the scales in Muramasa's favor.
Ar Tonelico II vs Final Fantasy 13 Weakest match of the pool.

Final Fantasy 3 vs Megaman 4
Dragon Warrior 4 vs River City Ransom

Nier vs LoM: Personal favourite here. Nier seems good but the stuff nommed is a bit repetitive, I guess?
Final Fantasy 6 vs Castlevania Symphony of The Night: Yeah, see dude's comments.
Muramasa vs Chrono Cross: Don't care.
Ar Tonelico II vs Final Fantasy 13: Honestly I don't think I need to say anything here.

Final Fantasy 3 vs Megaman 4: Well, FF3's one of my favourite non-Mega Man soundtracks on the NES...
Dragon Warrior 4 vs River City Ransom: Kind of a scrub-off for round 2 I think! No vote.

Erwin Schrödinger will kill you like a cat in a box.
Maybe.

Nier vs LoM
Two of the best in the tourney.  No real preference among the A+s, but I'll give both a listen again.
Final Fantasy 6 vs Castlevania Symphony of The Night
FF6 is middle-tier in modern Final Fantasy soundtracks, so no, not against SotN.
Muramasa vs Chrono Cross
Muramasa was pretty neat from what I listened of it, though.
Ar Tonelico II vs Final Fantasy 13

Final Fantasy 3 vs Megaman 4
Dragon Warrior 4 vs River City Ransom
Consider this another vote for Castlevania III, actually, definitely scrub match of the pool.

Nier vs LoM- There's not a vote I'm happy with here.
Final Fantasy 6 vs Castlevania Symphony of The Night
Muramasa vs Chrono Cross- While these two are fairly easy, top tier versus good.
Ar Tonelico II vs Final Fantasy 13- Each has a couple standouts, Sphilia > Blinded By Light for my money.
CK: She is the female you
Snow: Speaking of Sluts!

<NotMiki> I mean, we're talking life vs. liberty, with the pursuit of happiness providing color commentary.

Nier vs LoM - Nier is pretty much my favorite thing ever, one of the few soundtracks that I love every single track on the OST and feel that they all work brilliantly in-game. I'm especially impressed with the mixing and transitioning that goes on in the game - each track fades its vocals and instrumentals out and then overlaps with the next area's track for some interesting and seamless transitions that are absolutely mind-blowing. On the other hand, while LoM is one of the best OSTs in this tourney, I think it's a bit overrated in-game.
Final Fantasy 6 vs Castlevania Symphony of The Night - CV standards are amazing, but FF6 does the in-game thing better than most.
Muramasa vs Chrono Cross - clear-cut, but not a joke match in the least.
Ar Tonelico II vs Final Fantasy 13 - Huh, this match is surprisingly close despite being the weakest set of OSTs in the main event this week. Giving it to the one that's more unique.

Final Fantasy 3 vs Megaman 4 - I'm really waffling here... I like them both, but I feel I like FF3 just little bit more today.
Dragon Warrior 4 vs River City Ransom - Castlevania 3 vote.

Final Fantasy 6 vs. Castlevania Symphony of the Night

I don't think any soundtrack fits its game better than SotN's.

Nier vs LoM - I need to play Nier, for the music if nothing else. May have to borrow from someone at DLC. But...LoM music is so hard to beat.
Final Fantasy 6 vs Castlevania Symphony of The Night - SotN stuff is good, yeah...but...I dunno. The music always felt like background music, rarely standout. Where ff6 has several songs I will never forget and did thier job amazingly in game.
Muramasa vs Chrono Cross - the saving Marbule scene is what tips this. I love that song, and the use of it in game there was great. Sliiiightly peeved at CC for my favorite song from it(Dragon God) only coming up like...what, once? But eh, so it goes.
Ar Tonelico II vs Final Fantasy 13 - Hmm...yeah, see SotN for FF13 here. The music is clearly good, but isn't standout. Note I've still only played half the game, but AT2 music is good enough that I'm willing to vote this way anyway.

Final Fantasy 3 vs Megaman 4
Dragon Warrior 4 vs River City Ransom
