^ Question. Cecil is... Dark Paladin, right? The sign-up thread says he "promotes to Paladin", so I assume his floor 1 form is Dark Knight?

Also, does Purim start out with Undine or no magic?

Purim would start out with no magic (that's why the beginning of SoM is the hardest part of the game), and Cecil is likely a Dark Knight for the first two floors. Sadly, he doesn't have the sword of ID yet, but he's still an offensive powerhouse at this point.

Hmm, Chemist Ramza probably didn't start with anything, did he? I say be fair and give him Potion at the very least, you usually have enough JP for that.

Potion + Phoenix Down is only 120 JP which is fairly easy to get before Ramza can ever become a Chemist due to averages being a little over 100 starting, and spillover JP from the Gariland Battle.  That said, if I have to choose one or the other, better to have PD than Potion as Angelo and DW1 Hero both have sufficient healing for Floor 1.  As for Angelo, he starts with Heal and Whoosh, and is geared for dungeon crawling which means that his MP supply should be sufficient if all he's doing is Healing with the occasional blast of whoosh.

I'll get around to my views and votes after taking a look at everyone else's parties.

As usual, Bowser needs to be blitzed, I give Guv credit for being fast until you get Jess, so Floor 1 he's above average, and the average Purim and FF1 Monk assist in offing Bowser before he can terrorize anyone.  Garland then falls down like a proper little boy should.  Ursula will be somewhat handy in the next fight with her fire magic.  And it won't be that hard to blitz through the wave of scrubs.  Now, the problem comes with the buffers, where it looks like Ricardo, Luna, and Nara all have some nasty tricks.  Focussing on Ricardo gets him out of the way, while Luna and Nara probably try and put Guv, Porom, and probably the Monk to sleep, while Lucia buffs.  At this point, I'd give Guv Tingle though, and Purim, while otherwise useless, makes a good wakeup call.  She gets Guv on his feet, and if he can get Squelch off, then they focus on Luna, then probably Lucia, as Nara isn't that big a threat.
The one problem is when they hit the boss, between the three of them they'll be able to off Porom.  At that point, with a solid rush, they should be able to kill Harle to prevent Lunaretic, and just Lynx and Gaff won't be able to off Guv, so he can keep healing himself while the rest of the party takes this.

Ramza will be bringing ressurection, and almost certainly healing, along with Angelo who has Woosh and Heal, as well as the DW1 Hero, whose healing is strong in the early game.  And while the FF1 Monk isn't that strong, Cecil is near the top of his offensive game, having Dark Swords and only the likes of Rydia and Tellah to compete against.
The first three fights don't really pose an issue with the depth of resources going on here, which brings us to the buffers.  Lucia, again, is the weak link, with Ricardo and his Evasion Buffing being the more pressing target, he goes down first.  Then comes the sleep, though Angelo also packs Tingle.  So, this boils down to the same deal as Gate's fight, except everyone here poses a threat to the buffers who are, before buffing, notably frail.  The DW1 hero will probably be left to get Angelo back up and he'll wake everyone else up, then it's just a matter of offing Luna then the faltering pair of Nara and Lucia.  Without the dead weight of Gate's Party, and the added healing, the final group is an even easier decision for this party.

* - How important was it for Gate to have ice magic? I see Porom for healing so that's good ... Still offence seems to be a bit lacking. Ursula's being resisted. Guv hasn't got going yet and Monk isn't an utter powerhouse as far as I know. Hmmm.

* Huh what to taking out Ricardo first. Lucia's buffs >>> Ricardo as a buffer. Ricardo's buffs boost by a lower percent than Lucia's and she has a ton more things she can do.

Guv is actually probably above average speed at this point isn't he. Boomerang+Ursula physical hurts everyone, kills Nara. Monk kills Lucia offhand, fight is under control then. I don't think anyone dies, so they handle the boss. Gate passes.

Purim starting out epic was a bit of an unexpected oversight, but you should manage enough. Interested to see how well Purim handles the dungeon all around, particularly once floor 4 kicks in.

Saying that Gate has Porom which enough to get the team by despite limited offense (no my Ursula and early game Guv respect is not high) Still they just work away whilst Porom heals.
