MAJOR ALERT FOR PEOPLE WHO VOTED ALREADY- I SCREWED UP THE BRACKETS. PLEASE SEE BELOW- The matchup "Laser Silhouette (Wild Arms: Alter Code F) vs.Ripper Blast (Star Ocean 2) "Should actually be  "Cymbeline (Fire Emblem 10) vs.Ripper Blast (Star Ocean 2)"

Please Revote.



Ladies and gentlemen. We've seen lasers, summons, sword arts, devastating techniques of all shapes and sizes.
But the biggest blow-out of the first round was due to Underpants.

Rapid Fire(Final Fantasy 5) vs. Spellbinding Eye (Grandia 2) - Pretty badass on style and use.
Lionheart (Final Fantasy 8) vs. Frog Drop (Final Fantasy 9) - FROGGIES.
Randomizer (Wild Arms  1) vs. Screwdriver (Mana Khemia) - Better sexual innuendo.
Laser Silhouette (Wild Arms: Alter Code F) vs. Ripper Blast (Star Ocean 2) - Best skill in the game.  Name isn't as cool as Laser Silhouette, but it has better VA.
Radiant Howl (Tales of the Abyss) vs.  Bahamut (Final Fantasy 7) - Luke does have the least cool looking MA.  Bahamut on the other hand is a giant fucking dragon.

Rapid Fire(Final Fantasy 5) vs. Spellbinding Eye (Grandia 2): Rapidfire is certainly better (which is saying something), but SBE is more unique/cool.
Lionheart (Final Fantasy 8) vs. Frog Drop (Final Fantasy 9): Doesn't rely on a low random chance.
Randomizer (Wild Arms  1) vs. Screwdriver (Mana Khemia): People needed to nom Buster Star instead of Screwdriver.
Cymbeline (Fire Emblem 10) vs. Ripper Blast (Star Ocean 2): Pear into peaches! Very effective ranged crowd control move, the type of thing that makes SO2 better than a Tales game.
Radiant Howl (Tales of the Abyss) vs. Bahamut (Final Fantasy 7): Haha Mystic Arts. FF7 summons are at least cool.
Artem Buster (Shadow Hearts 2) vs. Lightning Stab (Final Fantasy Tactics)
Dreaded Dragon (Valkyrie Profile) vs. Devour (Final Fantasy 8): Mm, sure, going with the one that had actual in-game use. Devour -looked- cool, but DD isn't bad, so.
Bloody Curse(Valkyrie Profile 2) vs. Underpants Dance (Dragon Quest VIII): Eh sure.

Randomizer (Wild Arms  1) vs. Screwdriver (Mana Khemia) - Seconding the Buster Star hype, but still better by far than Randomizer.

Cymbeline (Fire Emblem 10) vs. vs. Ripper Blast (Star Ocean 2) - Between the image and the VA, this is one good move.

Rapid Fire(Final Fantasy 5) vs. Spellbinding Eye (Grandia 2)
Lionheart (Final Fantasy 8) vs. Frog Drop (Final Fantasy 9)- Frog Drop is a pain to build up, but Lionheart is very rare and the equip to get it is also annoying.
Randomizer (Wild Arms  1) vs. Screwdriver (Mana Khemia)- Now if this was Buster Star, I think rethink this.
Cymbeline (Fire Emblem 10) vs. vs.Ripper Blast (Star Ocean 2)- Yeah, didn't quite get Cymbeline...but Ripper Blast is an 8x mult around level 60 that can easily crush groups. Long range version is probably the best KM in the game. Based purely on stats (both it's own decent although not broken ones and Sanaki's...less decent ones), really hard to imagine it can trump Ripper Blast. Also, Pear into Peaches.

Artem Buster (Shadow Hearts 2) vs. Lightning Stab (Final Fantasy Tactics)
Dreaded Dragon (Valkyrie Profile) vs. Devour (Final Fantasy 8)
Bloody Curse(Valkyrie Profile 2) vs.Underpants Dance (Dragon Quest VIII)

TimeEclipse (Saga Frontier) vs. Aether (Fire Emblem 9)- Hmm, close.
Blinding Blaze (Valkyrie Profile 2)vs.  Energy Ball (Ar Tonelico)- What vs What?
Double-Edged Sword (Suikoden Tactics) vs. Flower (Ar Tonelico)

Dreaded Dragon (Valkyrie Profile) vs. Devour (Final Fantasy 8): Please stand by...

Blinding Blaze (Valkyrie Profile 2) vs.  Energy Ball (Ar Tonelico): Not amazingly generic.
Pancake (Rhapsody) vs. Shooting Star (Final Fantasy X): Pancakes.
