Huh, Eagles actually sign a decent fullback. They picked up Leonard Weaver for a bit under 2 million on a one year contract.

I hope the Pack resigns Nick Collins before minicamps start. He deserves it.

So....

Cutler is on the trade block for real for real now.

This is going to be interesting to see unfold.

So, who screwed the bigger pooch: Broncos management, by kicking out the most successful coach they've ever had so they could bring in a BILL BELICHICK PROTEGÉ (current success rate: 2007 Browns out of three) and inadvertently lose a promising young quarterback when their replacement is Pat Ramsey, or Jay Cutler by being a total jackass and quitting a job with a playoff-caliber team so he can get traded to Detroit or San Fransisco?

Either way, Norv Turner has got to be laughing his ass off.

Considering the rebuilding Denver had to do pretty much everywhere but at the offensive tackle and WR.. yeah. The best part is that they didn't even get Matt Cassel!

Also, no freaking way the Broncs are getting fair value in a trade here. They'll probably end up with a second-round pick below the one New England got.

I'd make a McNabb+Kolb+third rounder (Or a six pack of beer, whichever has more value) for Cutler joke, but Tom Heckert may somehow hear it and decide to act upon it.

All joking aside, stay out of the NFC North Cutler. Try Tampa Bay or the Jets. I'm sure you'll love the Jets!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but if the Eagles are bound and determined to burn their bridges with McNabb, Cutler wouldn't be a terrible consolation prize. Trading McNabb is still retarded, but who would you rather have as a successor?

Aaron Rodgers. "Not Kevin Kolb" also works.

Edit: Considering how poorly has handled this affair so far, he would not do well in Philly and with their media in general. The second he loses a game on a last second INT, people will forget all the hate towards McNabb and idolize him.

Green Bay does this, but in reverse. Weirdest damn thing.

Cutler breaks his leg on the first play of the first practice game. Calling it now.

Seriously though nabbing Cutler while he's still young is an excellent move...but who's he gonna throw to? We have the worst WRs in the entire league. The number 2 wideout is a guy that Cuter used to play with back in college, hopefully they'll have some sort of chemistry together. Our Tight ends are pretty good, but you can't just keep dumping the ball in their hands, the defense will adjust and run all over you.

Plus defensively he's plenty vulnerable, the Bears have already signed some people to try and cover this but it might not be enough.

All the same, having a proven QB is key, and something Chicago hasn't had in decades.
Don't think of it as a novel. Think of it as a chance to retroactively win every argument you have ever walked away from.

Ahem, Niners are going to the playoffs this year.

With Cutler, to the second round!

I wonder how Orten will do at Denver. He's not a great, or a good QB, but he was competant enough at least, and playing with a team with an actual receiving corps could at least let him do well for Denver until they find someone new to franchise.

I think Cutler's going to throw another fit when he finds out what kind of recieving corps he has to work with.

*Whistles* Eagles have traded a first round pick and some change to the Bills for Jason Peters.  Good pickup if he returns to his 2007 form.

Pretty much. Now they just need an actual backup RB from that other first-rounder in order to put their shiny new O-line to use.

So who do you think yer team is going to go after in the first round of the draft?

My friend is convinced that because the Bucs no longer are in need of a QB, that they can't pass up Percy Harvin in the 19th spot.

~

My brother is convinced that somewhere down thw line, the Phins will draft Pat White as well.

I'm not too sure on either.

I think the Eagles and the Vikings came out with one of the better draft classes this year.

So if/when Bret Favre comes back, he is either going to accomplish one of two things.

1. Take the Vikings to the SuperBowl and silence all his critics.

or...

2. Break his hip.

~

Either way this is a win win situation for me as a fan. Go for it buddy~
