Turn 33 - Current Board

The Fleet is using this rare bit of downtime to get some new pilot recruits some flight time.  Unfortunately, it seems the Cylons were ready and waiting for the fleet, and several ships quickly move in position to begin an attack on the Galactica and the civilian fleet.

2. Setup: 1 Basestar, 8 Raiders, 2 Vipers, and 3 Civilian Ships
3. Special Rule - Training New Pilots: Keep this card in play until the fleet jumps.  Each unmanned Viper suffers a -2 penalty to attack rolls.

You can't miss destroying raiders with that card, the roll is to see if you lose population as well.  Also, you need to tell me which group of raiders you're targeting.  I mean, I'm pretty sure I can guess but there are possible reasons you would want the other.

Oh yes, sorry for being misleading. I meant risking the Population on the die-roll was likely to back-fire. <_<

The die roll was 1, 1 population was lost.  Three raiders were destroyed in the section behind Galactica.  Lady Door's cards have been sent.  Sorry for the delay.

1. The Viper that was sharing a space with me should now come join me.
2-4. Launch 3 Vipers from forward.
5-6. Move 2 of those Vipers to the space with the single civvie ship.

Admiral Apollo jumps in his Viper and orders all available Vipers into the fray.  A glitch in the FTL computer system almost goes unnoticed during the chaos, but one tech notices and runs off in search of Chief Tyrol to try and fix it before it causes more problems...

Skill checks start with the player after current and go from there, so current player does play last when turn order is enforced.  An odd rule, but that's how it goes.

Basestar attack has a ~5% chance to kill you!  (but that happens regardless of pass/fail)

You already hit the fuel token and it doesn't get shuffled back in, so you actually can't kill them with one lucky Basestar shot, I'm afraid.  There's still fuel on a civvie somewhere though.
