Bravely Default - Finale, Grandship.

Two resets here. The second is the hilarious one: Boss opens with MT charm, outspeeding my attempt to nullify it. Spiritmaster uses Element damage x1.5 on boss. Boss uses Flare. The end. (And that's not even the boss' main gimmick!) Fun fight, quite a lot nastier than its previous version.

DS2:  Rat Covenant + Bonfire Ascetic = good times.  You can practically see the look on their face through the tv screen when they take a swipe at a rat and don't even do half its hp in damage.

wait that's not normal? maaaaaybe I was a little underleveled.
Rocky: you do know what an A-bomb is, right?
Bullwinkle: A-bomb is what some people call our show!
Rocky: I don't think that's very funny...
Bullwinkle: Neither do they, apparently!

FFD: Okay, you have to fight the optional bosses a bunch of times to level them up until they are actually harder than final-dungeon randoms, that's not tedious.

(On a happier note, hello there SRWZ3 shipping notice)

There's a SRWZ3!?

Out yesterday, Vita and PS3. Say hello to Gunbuster, Endless Waltz (WITH WHITE REFLECTION FUCK YES FINALLY), Gundam Unicorn, the proper Gurren Lagann finale and a few others I'm forgetting. Oh, and custom BGMs, which is going to be awesome.

It's available digitally (on both platforms) if you can go that route.

Dark Souls 2 SL1:
Beat Skeleton Lords, Covetous Demon, Sentinels (!), Gargoyles (!!!), RRV, Rotten (!).
Scorpion girl is a problem, and I haven't even tried Chariot yet.

SL1 makes every boss fight difficult and interesting. Except Covetous Demon.
I had never noticed that RRV had some cool Mohawk. He also could instantly poison my Sliman, which is very bad news with only 776 max HPs.

Mace is +8.
Pyro Flame is +5 and I have one spell slot with the Ring of the South. Handy but underwhelming compared to DS1 SL1 pyromancy

Firebombs and kunais are still cool.

If you are using Play-Asia, you might as well open an alternate account on your PS3 or Vita with a fake Japan address. (Any random hotel over there will work)
Then just purchase a network card code from Play Asia.

The game is a bit too easy when you think it can't get any easier. And what's with those riduclously potent item parts?
The plot also got very stupid, hitting a brand new low on SRW shitty writing.

Outside the emheanced graphic, I don't geel much effort was put into this game.

I also want to complain on how pathetic is the Anti-Spiral. For one of the most potent entity among mecha shows, why is he so weak? If there should be another character that deserves the Dark Brain treatment, it should be him.

Fenrir, you can't just stay all up in her grill to make her spam spear and stinger jabs? The only difficult to dodge thing I found was her magic.

Huh, the early reactions I heard were that Z3 got more balanced from the super-easiness of Z2. There's definitely some potential for breakability in the new gameplay systems, though, and those buyable items do look nasty.

(The game is in NYC now yaaaaaaaaaaay)

Edit: this is all the reason I need to buy the game.

I have no idea about the overall plot, but the crossover events in Z3.1 sound like a big step up from Z2: Chirico and Heero piloting Bonta-kuns briefly, Beastmen mistaking Poniman from Fumoffu for one of their own, Yunoha using her element power to troll Ramiel, Char vs Char Clone, etc.

Also apparently there is a Paradigm City memory whammy hitting the entire cast, and I am a sucker for more Big O plot.

XCOM Enemy Within:  XCOM HQ got attacked.  Shit was crazy.  I think the final count for enemies killed was... 55?  It was very different than the normal missions in that there's aliens coming at you from all sides and out of the walls and such.

The memory zap is the worst among the plot device used in this game, just to have a excuse to make the characters to do something they normally wouldn't do and make excuse of plot holes. Thanks to that, the plot becomes stupidly ridiculous in a very very bad way.

Cid, she still casts Homing Soulmass at close range. And that's always terrible news. The claw attacks are also pretty dangerous!
I'm counting on getting a Mace +10 on other paths + some gold pine resin from Vengarl.

This is the current situation:

Pit : ^_^
Bastille: Lost Sinner = :(
Lavaworld: Medusa = :(
Spiderland: Scorpiona = :(

Medusa should be the easiest.

After seeing a stream reach the Anti-Spiral stage of Z3, I can see that it faces a serious problem.

EVERY SINGLE UNIT has size infinite for that map. It is Tengen Toppa Everything: The Stage, basically. The largest boss gets no size modifier benefits!

Which actually fits, plotwise. The Anti-Spiral wouldn't want a size bonus.

Captain Herlock exists with or without your crossover game.

The guy who travels from one point to the other in his ship that just kind of cruises through space at a wholly reasonable speed exists outside any kind of causality.

Hearthstone:  Switched to Hunter because I don't have the cards to make Rogue work.  Starving Buzzard combos are wonderful.  Drew 7 cards in one turn this evening.

I figured out why my arena opponents were getting much better cards than me.  Apparently if you own an Epic or Legendary card it will show up in your arena drafts.  Explains why I was running into fucking Jaraxxas.  Kind of defeats the purpose of a random draft.  I'll save my gold for something else, maybe that new expansion coming out.
