A few days after the roll battle with Magic, I got a rainbow on the cellphone. Hi Lunera. (Not complaining given I need more spellcasters but still...). Aria eludes me.

Recently picked this up. Any tips on getting trust masteries, or is it just a really really long time before you get one?
<napalmman> In Suikoden I, In Chinchirorin, what is it called when you roll three of the same number?

First let me say that Trust Masteries are not necessary for the game, they just make things easier.

Ways to get them:

1) Use an emulator and run Earth Shrine using macros.  This is the fastest method but kind of takes the point out of playing the game.  You can also do Earth Shrine manually, but that is boring as hell.

2) Feed Moogles from events to a character whose TM you want.  I probably get a TM every 3-4 weeks using this method.  This may be a bit slow for you at the beginning because you won't be able to clear the hardest content yet, but it'll get easier.

3) Raids.  Raids give Moogles for specific characters by doing Raid Summons in the Summon menu.  There will be a raid starting tomorrow for FFXI characters.  You'll probably be able to get a few TMs from this event.  EDIT:  Apparently the FFXI raid does not give Trust Moogles from Raid Summons.  That blows.

What's your friend code?  I'll add you.  I usually have a character up who's moderately useful for the current events running.

Well I want Bravely Default's stuff but I doubt THAT will happen. If some of the other collabs didn't pop up...I doubt these two will sadly.

Judging from the news I think somebody else may have gotten there first? Not often you hear of a big-name game (or even its tie-in) getting ransomwared.

Yeah apparently they were stupid enough to have their games linked to the website as well.  "Someone" gave everybody in FFBE 5000 lapis yesterday evening and the server was brought down shortly after for emergency maintenance which still hasn't ended.  Now Brave Frontier and their new game Alchemist Code are down for emergency maintenance also.  Gumi is fucked.

So.  Dark Ifrit/Dark Siren team beat on auto.

Veritas of the Dark
L100
Kiyomori - Defender - Grand Helm - Assassin's Vest - Ring of the Lucii - Ring of the Lucii
Spirit of Freedom - Evade - First Strike - Dual Wield

100% Physical Evasion, and since DV Absorbs Dark (and everything that would get around the evade includes Dark in the elements it hits), then these two can't damage him ever.

So free Bracer+, Caster Robe, and Great Sword Mastery Materia.

Before, I had some stupid shield in place of the Defender, and Lightspeed instead of Dual Wield.  That win took...  1447 turns on Auto.

Got Tidus from the free 5*.  Not bad but not sure what to do with him.  Doesn't really jive with my current team.

Finished the story.  Much cliché very wow.  But hey, free 100% trust moogle.  Gonna sit on it a while and see if I pull something worth using it on.

Will spend the rest of the week dying to Aigaion again.

I got Trance Terra.  Thinking that she syncs VERY well with Fryevia’s and Ingus’s TMRs.

Is it just me, or do these enhancements turn Fina from Worst 4* Base to somewhat respectable healer?  Entrust +2 getting Auto-Life is nice, and Ritual +2 is...  Yeah, it looks good.  Stats up one looks appealing, but Divine Burst still looks like trash to not bother with.

Maybe not respectable as a healer, but definitely great as a MP battery/support character.

Okay, so.  Pumpkin Reaper came out today.

Veritas of the Dark - Kiyomori/Durandal/Grand Helm/Assassin’s Vest/Ring of the Luciix2 - Spirit of Freedom/First Strike/Evade/Dual Wield - Ifrit - Okay so.  This guy was the entire reason I beat this boss.  Screwed up at the end, but he stayed strong due to the boss stopping Reaping, This setup giving DV 95% PEvade, and absorbing Dark Damage.  He got me the Finish with a LB condition too, thanks to his own imperils.
Olive - Sparky/Kingsglaive Hood/Apron Dress/Sun Barette/Ifrit’s Claw - Doublehand/ATK+60%/Plant Killer -Diabolos - Okay, she’s just there for Chain capping.  Tons of damage, at least.
Noctis - Cruel Oath/Blood Sword/Black Bandanna/Adaman Vest/Genki Glove/Jeweled Ring - Follower’s Oath/Spirit of Freedom/Successor/Renewal - Golem - Swiss Army character pinch hits again.  Full Revival, MP Regen, Link, Warp Break...  He did it all.
Rikku- Override/Mythril Buckler/Moogle Crown/Tabby Suit/Vitality Apparatus/Black Choker - Mog Wisdom/ATK+30% - Ramuh - You know what she’s here for.  Barely did anything else, actually.
Lasswell - it doesn’t actually matter what he was equipped with, aside from Dual Wielding.  He was there for the condition, and I tried to set him up to help generate LB crystals.  Didn’t matter in the end, he spent most of the fight dead.
RW: Orlandeau.  Did you know that Divine Ruination has the exact same frame data as DV’s Dark Punishment?  Elemental chains ahoy!

Yeah if you give Orlandeau and Dark Veritas a light and a dark weapon each, they can reach max damage twice as fast.

All I can figure to be BiS of the characters I have for a DV like that is...  Excalibur/Moonblade/Rider’s Helm/Demon Mail/Genji Glove/Bracer with Sworn Pride Dark/Dark Knight’s Soul/Large Sword Mastery/Wisdom.  That sounds like a strong set?

Yeah, just make sure you don't go over 300% attack bonus or it's wasted.  I don't know what DV's innate bonus % is.  Straight # adds like Bracer are always good.

So typical overreacting Reddit scared me about Pumpking Reaper.  Then I killed it in 3 turns.  Would have been 2 if I'd chained better.  #Lunethlife

Dare I ask what your setup was to pull THAT off?  Best I got was 8 turns when I replaced Lasswell with Elza.

Warrior of Light (Gigantaxe, Dragon Shield, Grand Helm, Reflect Mail, Muscle Belt, Germinas Boots) [Mechanical Heart, Resentment, HP+15%, HP+15%] <Golem>
Zargabaath (haha I forgot to put gear on him lulz) [hahaha] <Diabolos>
Orlandeau (Durandal, Genji Blade, Cursed Mouthpiece, Golden Armor, Ruler's Ring, Ruler's Ring) [Dual Wield, Atk+15%, Atk+15%, Plant Killer] <Titan> no I don't know why I have Golden Armor on there whoo I'm so crazy
Luneth (Excalibur, Virtuous Contract, Black Cowl, Onion Armor, Sun Barette, Celestial Gloves) [Large Sword Mastery, Katana Mastery, Atk+30%, Wisdom] <Ifrit>
Refia (Holy Wand-Replica, Cat-ear Hood, Siren's Robe, Domination Ring, Domination Ring) [Dualcast, Thirst for Survival, Shard of Genius, Shard of Genius] <Lakshmi>
friend Orlandeau had around 950 attack and Ifrit.

Reaper was down to 13% after two turns and I messed up on chaining.  So yeah very two-turnable.  I need to do it again because I forgot to use a limit break.  Won't bother with Lasswell mission although it seems I could replace Refia with him.

Well the good news is that I have enough damage to kill the Skeleton King in 3 turns.  The bad news is that he has enough damage to kill me in 1 turn.

I kinda just gave up on beating Skeleton King after failing about 10 different tries.  Each try is too expensive, at that.

So, I got my 10+1 ticket today, and used it.  It gave me a 5* base!  It was OG Delita.

At least I have another dupe for when 7*s come out.

List so far: Lightning, Dark Fina, Delita.

Fuck yeah I beat Skeleton King.

Warrior of Light (Gigantaxe, Dragon Shield, Grand Helm, Reflect Mail, Muscle Belt, Germinas Boots) [Mechanical Heart, Resentment, Vengeful Wrath, HP+15%] <Golem>
White Witch Fina (Aura Staff, Black Cowl, Pure White Robe, Parade Gorget, Black Choker) [Adventurer IV, Mechanical Heart, Thirst for Survival, Mog Rise] <Lakshmi>
Zargabaath (Excalibur, Virtuous Contract, Imperial Helm, Demon Mail, Champion's Belt, Celestial Gloves) [Dual Wield, Katana Mastery, Large Sword Mastery, Undead Killer] <Odin>
Orlandeau (Durandal, Enhancer, Kingsglaive Hood, Protective Armor, Ruler's Ring, Pod 153) [Dual Wield, Wisdom, Dark Knight's Soul, Atk+30%) <Titan>
Friend A2 notably with Excalibur and Discernment

So Zargabaath is pretty godly in this fight since he can buff everyone with confusion resistance and drain all of Skeletor's MP in one round with Judgment Blade.  The problem is he can't do both of these on the same round.  And in later rounds you need to be draining MP every turn.  There is a disturbing lack of Confusion resistance gear in this game.

WoL uses Arms Breaker, Light is With Us, defend every 3 turns.
Fina uses Ritual+2 and that's it.
Orlandeau uses Pod abilities and Divine Ruination.
A2 attack every round with Dash Attack, Finisher, or limit break.

So i had Skeletor down to 14%, but he killed WoL.  I decided to gamble on killing him off instead of recovering WoL.  Nope, only got him down to 2%.  He wipes everyone but Zargabaath.  Zarga spends a couple of turns trading attacks, but Judgment Blade is just offsetting Skele's healing and I'm spinning my wheels.  I gamble for a second time on Zargabaath's limit break.  It kills, barely. *sweatdrop*

Got no white magic and 5-man missions, didn't care about getting the summon mission.

So yeah.  I was dealing about 10-11% on turns I got to attack.

Ilias (Ulric’s Kukri, Mythril Buckler, Survivor’s Helm, Adaman Vest, Lucky Bangles, Black Choker) [Guardian’s Authority x2, MP +15%, Mechanical Heart] <Titan> - Easily MVP of the fight, thanks to emergency Salve Elixir, and blocking debuffs.
Noctis (Moogle Spear, Genji Shield, Soul Crown, Apron Dress, Wind-Up Titan, Jeweled Ring) [Mog Wisdom, Confusion Resistance, Renewal, Vengeful Wrath] <Odin> - He had three jobs.  Cover, Lance, and buffing the party for short amounts of time with his LB.  Also used Comeback a few times when crap started hitting the fan.
Warrior of Light (Kiyomori, Flame Shield, Grand Helm, Flame Mail, Defender’s Bracer, Domination Ring) [Successor, Null Paralysis, Resentment, Mechanical Heart] <Ifrit> - So, he was built to try to deal with the boss’s fire attacks.  That wound up being pointless.  Still a valuable member of the team.
Veritas of the Dark (Genji Blade, Durandal, Imperial Helm, Force Armor, Black Choker, Genji Glove) [ATK +30% x2, Large Sword Mastery, Quick Assault] <Lakshmi> Abyss Guard for the start of the fight.  Defensive Barrier for the entire fight for WoL, Osmose Blade to help deal with his MP, Lakshmi’s AoE Confuse Resist ability after the 60% threshold, and Dark Punishment for chaining damage.
RW Orlandeau (Genji Blade, Excalibur, Imperial Helm, Demon Mail, Domination Ringx2) [Large Sword Mastery, Katana Mastery, Dual Wield, ATK +30%] <Odin> The Guy on my friend list who hasn’t been on in 42 Days was key to my Damage.  Chain Dark Punishment with Holy Explosion, deal about 11% of the Boss HP.  Also used Crush Weapon, absorbed both MP and HP when needed, and helped to grind Summon orbs at the start.

So aside from Gil Snapper’s Cave, what’s the best way to make money?  Also consider that the +100% Gil abilities are...  Bugged to give only like +3 Gil, according to the Reddit.
