Between my 2 dailies, the 12 EX Tickets, the 2 4* EX Tickets, and about 12~ Summon Tickets I got a Valvalis dupe, Duke and Cloud.

WoL, Rem, and Orlandeau are all in my regular team, so this is an expensive week of enhancements. Had to pick and choose because of low Gil. Got WoL's Light is With Us, Rem's Curaga, and Orlandeau's Black Lion Crest. Rest will have to wait for a Gil Snapper weekend.

Air Buster was hella easy. Substandard team did 81% on him first turn. Then he Air Bomber'd Zargabaath, who survived because he is just that badass.

I BEAT AIGAION. That fight has been kicking my ass for months. Didn't get no magic mission, but fuck if I'm ever doing that fight again. Emperor was the unit I needed to pull to make things work. 82 turns, left arm was dead on turn 49.

Emperor (Fire From Below every turn, summoned Ramuh)
Warrior of Light (Light is With Us, Armor Eraser, defend)
Zargabaath (everything, buff people, Rejuvenate Fina, dispel boss's attack buffs, water attack to cancel boss supermove)
White Witch Fina (Ritual every turn)
Rem (Undying Wish A2 in first phase, Dagger Boomerang in second, also emergency rez/healing)
friend A2 with fire weapon

Now I'm getting closer to my ultimate goal:

...Emergency Maintenance. What a pain.

Anyway. Decided to try out Isle of the Dragon. Took Xon/PJake/Ace/Tilith/Noctis/RW Noctis.

Ace: His only use was Spirit Hand+2. AoE 45 MP Restore was way too useful, and sometimes it'd proc 100 or 140. I'd also use him to cast Cure and Cleanse outside of battle, so long as it didn't drop him below 10 MP.
Xon: Waylay. Waylay everything. Didn't really do anything past that. (Also, Twist of Fate is good for some fights and I still recommend him for this.)
Pirate Jake: Double Gil, and for uses beyond that, Walk the Plank and Parrrley depending on the enemy. Since he had Ramuh equipped, I could also pop Libra if I wanted to check an enemy's resistances out.
Tilith: Healing and back-up MP Restore if needed. Also had to pop the AoE 100% Revive a few times too. Ayaka's going to be a straight upgrade to her once I get her leveled up thanks to the better relevant stats and innate resistances (only thing Tilith can do that Ayaka can't is buff all four stats at once - Ayaka's split on abilities between ATK/DEF and MAG/SPR).
Noctis: And to help his survivability, he's built for immunity to a bunch of important statuses and 100% evade, as well as high ATK. Flasks for AoE killing, Warp Strike for ST killing.
(RW - nephew's) Noctis: There for back-up and helping my main Noctis do everything. Flasks, Point-Warp... Yeah.

...Almost got a game-over once. That said, I full cleared two areas and raked in 171K Gil.

EDIT: Also figure I should go over the last few 5*s I pulled that are notable.

Orlandeau (Got him on the King's Knight banner. Not complaining!)

So, I did a 10+1 pull to shoot for Kaliva for his TMR last-minute yesterday.

Got Kaliva, a second Barusa, and my third Veritas of the Flame.

EDIT: I just realized that Kaliva's TMR is BiS for Lunera, if I ever get another copy of her.

Also congrats on getting Basch, Captain.

EDIT 2: Congrats on getting... Two Baschs?

...Well now I have to ask, is Ayaka's TMR worth getting?

I chanted "BREAK BREAK BREAK" at a yellow crystal and it broke into a rainbow and became a second Basch. Life is good.

I am now set on tanks and healers forever, and am no longer doing daily pulls. Saving all my lapis for Valkyrie Profile (and Star Ocean, but we probably won't get that collab).

So, I was going to procrastinate on this post a bit more, and then I drew Roy this morning. Well.

So, I decided to list off what I got in terms of 5☆s and preparing for 7☆s, so... I'm not quite sure who's good right now, have to do more research. May update later.

7☆ collected for: Ace, Dark Fina, Delita, Fryevia, Gilgamesh, Knight Delita, Lightning, Luneth, Noctis, Olive, Veritas of the Dark, Veritas of the Flame.
5☆ bases without a dupe: Ayaka, Barbariccia, Christine, Duke, Elfreeda, Elza, Emperor, Fohlen, Gladiolus, Lunera, Nyx, Orlandeau, Queen, Reberta, Roy, Trance Terra.
5☆ bases that fail to count ever: Kelsus, Maxwell, Y'shtola.

And of those, I have a third Delita and Flame Veritas.

The free draws have been particularly kind to me, because I just got my third Rainbow from them in... What, 8 days?

It was a second Barbariccia. MUCH appreciated.

EDIT: Actually, funny thought. It took me a day to realize it, but drawing that second Barbariccia just made my eventual 7☆ Dark Fina go up in value by a LOT. More than one Tornado chainer!

Finished Awesome Swordsman TM. Orlandeau now at 1166 attack (1168 with Bahamut). Would need two Desch Rings and a Prishe Hairpin to break 1200, so that's where that's going to end.

Time to start working on True Doublehand stuff. Speaking of which, Explorer Aileen's TM is crazy good.
