Ryu Bateson: son of the great magician Father Ganer and the Dragon Maiden Valerie, brother of the infamous thief Patty, and the Destined Child of Dologany. While his half-dragon blood leaves him incapable of transforming for long periods of times like his Ryu brethren, he is not one to be taken lightly; G. Dragon HURTS, even if he's only got one shot of it. Even the mightiest of foes will feel a big dent from its monstrous power. Should G. Dragon not suffice, Ryu still has a strong physical, counter attacks, and unlimited healing through Guts to see him through the harshest situations. With a Heavy Championship and an upgrade to the DL's elite division, Ryu has indeed proven that half-dragon does not mean half-power.
