What does it take to be a true hero? Sacrifice, the battle-weary say, for a true hero will need to give up everything for his goal? A disaster, the more cynical will claim, for heroism can only occur when the world needs a hero. Fate, the romantics respond, for not everyone can be a hero, and even the most hardened of warriors rarely become one, so one can only sit and wait to become a hero. An ideal, the intellects would add, for an ideal that can bring one to the point of zeal can make a hero of even an ordinary man.
But non, non, non, Pierre would say, such things may be important to be a hero, but you are forgetting the most important requirement of all!
Beauty, and fashion sense! And maybe a little bit of hard work, but that comes after those two.
And so with those words, all the other debators whe were unable to form a single opinion, would finally find a single point to agree on. That Pierre must die. And with the screams of 'ouchies' and 'not my beautiful face!', the people of the world became more united.
Thankfully, Pierre is used to getting beaten up, so an angry mob is nothing to a true hero. He could never understand why people doubt him so. Does he not bear the Hero's Medal? Does he not wield the Hero's Sword and Shield? Oh, for the Duelling League to have such jealous elements in its heart. Well, Pierre would just have to show everyone up by winning a Championship!
...once he gets over his frequent bouts of stomach cramps. Oh... such a tragedy it is for a hero such as he to be in frequent agony.
