But the temptation of the Frozen Flame was too strong for a man seeking a way to defend his territory from invaders, and Lynx was able to manipulate him to his needs. After learning how wrong he was for trusting the demi-human, Viper would later try to atone for his judgmental errors by seeking Lynx to pay for his crimes.
