The man they called Hurricane, Legault was one of the original members of the Black Fang. Alongside Brendan Reed and his two sons, Uhai, and Jan, the Black Fang dispensed its own brand of justice, eliminating those amongst the nobility who treated their people with contempt. But then Sonia arrived, and the Fang became corrupted, and things changed... and Legault was tasked with killing a young member of the Fang, who commited no crime save being too injured to continue as an assassin. Though he did the deed with a heavy heart, Legault's loyalty to the Black Fang was shattered that day, and soon he decided to leave and live the life of a common thief- but not until he pilfered some treasure from the Fang, of course. As fate would have it, he ended up stumbling upon Eliwood's company, who, upon hearing his story, asked him to join as a guide. Bemused and perhaps inspired by the young Lord's spirit, he decided to join Eliwood's band of misfits.
