Multi-armed terror of both the DL and Behind the Scenes, Gilgamesh hails from the rarely visited world of Final Fantasy V. A world rife with many problems ( "Specifically...Butz? Who names their kid BUTZ - or even Bartz! -of all things? Why, back in MY day...zzz..." - Galuf ), there was nonetheless a sparkle of hope in the world. Raised by a negligent mother and father, the young child Gilgamesh nonetheless grew into a brilliant young...multi-armed thing. After graduating from the X-Zone College of Metaphysical and Philosophical Sciences at the top of his class, the young Gilgamesh took up an "internship" with Exdeath Industries. Little did he know that he would be abused by the villain in the villain's attempt to revive himself and destroy the world. Despite his obvious failings in the combat department, Gilgamesh showed true character in helping the heroes out in the end, blowing himself up for goodness. Well, what looked like blowing himself up, at least. In reality, it was a simple science experiment, and after that, Gilgamesh went out into the real world and finally found his true calling in life: Museum Management.

Relegated to being a part of Behind the Scenes for most of his DL career, Gilgamesh recently got a chance to prove himself a capable combatant, and he did not disappoint. Tearing apart 4 heavies like nothing, he earned his way up to Godlike, alongside his abusive former boss. While his first match there was a bit of a letdown, by no means is he finished fighting.
