Youngest member of the famed Beoulve family, Alma lead a very sheltered life, ferreted away in a monastery while her brothers studied the art of war and government. Still, the nobel Beoulve blood is not so easily silenced, and Alma could not sit quietly by as Ramza fled from the church which had branded him a heretic. Though this lead to her capture by the Lucavi, seeing in her a suitable vessel for their master Altima, the young Cleric could still not be so easily broken, and stood to fight the last battle against the Bloody Angel.
Alma's years at the monastery gave her much time to learn, and Alma clearly made the most of it. The MBarrier spell is one of the most useful defensive abilities known in the Duelling League, simultaneously enhancing the defenses and speed of its target, as well as providing them with regeneration. Alma's mastery is so advanced she can even learn the mighty Ultima spell given a chance, and coupled with her impressive natural spellcasting abilities it is very painful indeed. Coupled with tasteful Ribbon, Alma's an incredible fighter with no easily accessable weaknesses. While she's lost some very tough battles, many consider her destined for great things in the Duelling League, though who knows how or when that destiny will come to pass.
