In many ways, Typhlosion is similar to a porcupine. Of course, most porcupines’ don’t burn you; stand on two legs or torch things with fiery breath. Okay so it was a bad analogy, but it was worth a try!

Being a second-generation starter, you would expect Typhlosion to be under whelming in some ways. Yet this fiery creature is quite quick, and quite powerful, with the burn inducing Flamethrower in its arsenal. Throw in a couple of utility moves such as an evasion ignoring attack, and you’ve got a competent Middle dueller in your hands.
