Gryz is a Motavian warrior who took refuge in Tonoe after Zio destroyed his hometown and took the life of his parents. Gryz barely escaped with his sister Pana and his life, and has sworn revenge over the dark magician.

In battle, Gryz hits things with his axe hard. And I mean, really hard. His most useful technique is Crash, which is accurate instant death. If this fails, he has War Cry to raise the power of his axe blows and fell his opponents quicker. He is, however, very slow and prone to magic.
