Jacques is the anti-social member of the 12th Frontier Defense Force, and he seems like a normal, hopelessly shy boy. Okay, well maybe he’s a little strange, but he’s likable. He is an archer, and he has a crush on Alia, the perky and free-spirited Karayan girl. And she’s also an archer, which is so cute, although her bow is more traditional than his bowgun. His record in the DL is decent, being beaten twice by the now-Middles Bowser Koopa and Cecile while racking up several wins of his own. Maybe Jacques will meet Aila in Middle sooner rather than later!
