Joker, the magician and fist-fighter of Geddoe's squadron, is more level-headed than his compatriot, Ace, but still gets frustrated with his antics on occasion. As the only one who suspected Geddoe's true role in all these events, and a loyal friend to him all the way through, his importance to the 108 Stars of his era cannot be understated.

In battle, he relies on the overwhelming power of his Fire Rune and his brawling capabilities to down opponent before they get a chance to land too many blows on him - he's not a front-line fighter by nature, darnit! Still, he's got enough to take some blows and keep on going, which gives him all the time he needs to wipe the Arena clean with fire.
