An escaped former Gladiator, the Kanakan swordsman Belcoot returned to the Queendom of Falena for Crown Princess Lymsleia's Sacred Games with the goal of ultimately abolishing the gladiator system once and for all. Although he soon proved to be one of the most skilled fighters in the entire competition, the Godwin family's schemings ultimately lead to his defeat - but not before meeting Falena's Prince Freyjadour, whom Belcoot would later assist in the Prince's quest to reunite his fractured country.
