May is a unique character in Shining Force II, the only centaur in the game who uses a bow over the weapon of choice, the spear. She’s young, cute, and extremely useful compared to her fellow archers. Not only does she hit harder, but also she has better defense and more movement. She joins the Shining Force after realizing that they aren’t really villains but good people willing to save the world, and she remains a staple in the army until the very end. Her only appearance in the DL is a loss to Thomas, but he hit her weaknesses on the mark. Next time, she’ll probably go on a tear in Light, and claim Shining Force 2 another championship.
