Zalbard is the weakest of the Greater Devils, and you battle him the earliest of them all, at Mitula’s Shrine in Tristin. He does seem like a much nicer guy than the likes of Cameela and Gesph, although you only get a glimpse of his personality in the game itself. He’s a pain to fight though, with powerful Bolt spells and physical attacks. Zalbard has enjoyed success in the DL that most of the cast of Shining Force 2 has not, winning a championship and upgrading to Heavy. While he might not destroy Heavy like he crushed Middle, it should be fun to see him fight the next time he gets in.
