As his name implies, the half-elf known as Genis Sage is a veritable genius. And he sure knows it, never faltering in reminding Lloyd just how dense he can be. Despite the superiority complex (runs in half-elf blood just as much as it does in full elf blood), Genis is a good kid. Always desirous of a peaceful co-existence between half-elves, elves and humans, Genis is well-liked by everyone around him. His journey with Lloyd was an eye-opening experience, showing him how closed-minded everyone around him could be - including those he once viewed as friends or role models. Despite the rejection and disasters that arose around him, Genis stood steadfast in his endeavours, and eventually overcame the dark machinations of the mad - yet pitiable - Yggdrasil.

A genius magus if there ever was one, Genis specializes in attack magic of all sorts and all elements. With the ever stylish and punishing Indignation, Prism Sword or Meteor Storm, Genis can put any foe into a world of hurt. Even Godlikes tremble at his sheer destructive magical force, let alone the entire division of Light.
