Everyone who has played Vandal Hearts knows Diego, that goofy pervert of an archer who loses the girl he was after to his straight man, Clint. He's a good kid and an utterly normal Ishtarian from all sides, and even comes with the complementary tragic past that most characters from war-torn lands possess.

Of course, considering his entire daddy issues, with him running away since he was too rich. AND how of all the aliases to use, he had to choose Renault, the name of a wussy priest. AND the fact that bow and arrows are the second most popular weapon amongst female demure-types. AND the pink bandanna...

Well, let's just say his DL life hasn't been the best. While he has continually insisted that he's a perfectly normal pervert with a taste for perfectly normal females, that hasn't stopped random males of a not so straight orientation to hit on him, or random duelists to mercilessly mock him.

Well, that's one of the good things about living in the DL dimension. If people piss you off, you could always go and skewer them with your lance in a shower of glory and blood, and get paid for it. Yup, while things be better, at least there's some consolation to be found.
