Even among the Einherjar, few have as much loss and sorrow hanging over their shoulders as Lucian. In his youth, as his friends disappeared one by one at the hands of slavers, Lucian tried to save his closest friend Platina, only to stumble upon Weeping Lillies and lose her forever. As an adult, he tries again to save people, the poor of Gerabellum, but they are brutally crushed by the nobility, which is when he was found by the Valkyrie. And while the two had something together, it was fleeting, for like all the Einherjar Lucian eventually had to move on and enter the halls of Valhalla.
But his life of perpetual loss and tragedy only made Lucian stronger. His sword technique is unparalleled, brutalizing foes with frightening efficency. Lucian is even able to continually unleash the fearsome Purify Weird Soul technique Round-Rip Saber, making him very likely the most able Einherjar of all. Even with this Heavy-level offense, however, Lucian's performance in the Duelling League is not all it could be, and he has even downgraded to Middle. However, Lucian will not accept such defeat lightly, for the honor of the Valkyrie is on the line, and he would never allow himself to fail her.
