Best known for her unusual chicken-dance battle-stance, Yumei is a mermaid from Midgar who died under rather tragic circumstances. However, thanks to one sympathetic young fisherman and the ever-attentive Valkyrie, the young half-human lass was reborn into the noble ranks of the Einherjar. In this godlike form, she brings ice magic and freezing to the table, and against some foes can even unleash a devastating Purify Weird Soul. Yumei's never been big on fighting, but as an Einherjar it wouldn't do to lose, so you can expect to see Yumei come out swinging (or flapping her arms, as the case may be) in any matchup.
