Known as the Hero of Slayheim, certain events turned him into a war criminal imprisoned in the Illsveil Prison. Eventually, he was rescued and recruited into the ranks of ARMs, but not without a lack of distrust. His former relation with Vinsfeld further made his team mates wary of him, allowing accusations of his being a spy come easier. However, after a moment of absence, he would later prove his worth and integrity as an ally.

His experiences as a war hero serves him well in the League. Baring strength, toughness and a tactical mind matched by no other, Brad is able to slug things out with the best of them before finishing them off with heavy artilery. While he has problems dealing with some of the trickier duelists (a fact punctatued by his fall from Heavy in Season 32), this old war horse is far from washed-up.
