Margulis is the resident standoffish jerk of the Xenosaga series, and he’s a religious zealot to boot! Sounds like a delightful guy, huh? Well, he may not be the most charming, but he is most certainly one hell of a fighter, as shown by his mad sword skills. And his acute ability to pick up completely psychotic, obsessive girls to do his bidding for him is quite surprising and advantageous. He has an effective strategy in the Arena, and that’s HIT THINGS REALLY HARD WITH SWORD. He is indeed one of the great video game rivals, and he will destroy the puny Jin in all facets of Arena life.
