Time Eclipse of the Heart

Magical Girl Ghaleon is one of the greatest successes in the history of the DL. Spawning many seasons of...erm..."entertainment," the highbrow animated and live action series has garnered an entire legion of fans. From the highest unrankable Godlike to the puniest of punies, countless thousands have enjoyed the stylings of MGG. But what the series hasn't had is a real breakout theme song since Ghaleon's original, legendary remix of "I Feel Pretty".

TimeLord has taken it upon himself to fix that. Already possessing the looks of a 80's rock star, and the innate singing ability native to all elflike creatures, he had all the pieces he'd need for a really kickass album. After a long night of drinking and recording, TL created the perfect song for the MGG show. A song so great, so awesome, so lyrical, that he named it after his greatest move.

However, "OverDrive" isn't all that catchy a title, so after taking a few moments to reflect, TL came up with a much better title:

"Time Eclipse of the Heart".

The song describes the epic love story between Magical Girl Ghaleon, and her true protector Tuxedo Zidane. An instant hit, the "Time Eclipse of the Heart" was quickly used as background music for countless videos proclaiming that the true destiny of Ghaleon was to be Zidane's tranny lover.

This went over with Ghaleon over as well as anyone expected - the Magic Emperor promptly tried to kill the first fans he ran into. Sadly for him, that was Zophar and Mystic Lord Virgil, who promptly sent him and his flunkies to the hospital. With nothing to stand in the way, TimeLord was assured musical glory.

Until Seifer stepped in. As rap artists are wont to do, he remixed and sampled Time Eclipse of the Heart and turned it into a dance theme. It caught on with as much success as the original version. One problem: Seifer "forgot" to credit TL for the original version.

There's only one way to solve such a solution...a duel? Ha! Of course not, a musical battle. Which one of these two artists deserves praise? The original artist, or the one who remixed it and made it even more popular and well-liked?
  • TL's version pounds the remix into the dirt. (Seifer is dropped in lava)
  • Yo yo yo! Rapmaster Seifer's version is far more crunk. (TL kills himself after hearing the remix)
  • Who can choose between these two masterpieces? (Ghaleon gets out of the hospital early and kills them both)

Ghaleon having been cured of his wounds hears a familiar music.....

"What's that music? That sounds like...."

Instantly gaining speed that a character have in an event sequence, he went straight to the match and pounds them to dirt.

"Overdrive", TL mumbled before he passed out.

This unfortunately had a very undesirable effect.

"What is this?" Ghaleon shouted as he sees the latest 'Magical Girl Ghaleon' show which features TL's music for the opening sequence and Seifer's rap for the ending.

Ghaleon once again goes out to kill the very first fan of 'Magical Girl Ghaleon' he sees. Unfortunately he ran into a group of prominent duellers such as Zophar, Profound Darkness, Sephiroth, even Piastol and Myria who sends him back to the hospital....
