DL Team Battles IV When Cecil and the Elements last clashed in the Giant of Bab-il, Rubicant must have been in charge of their strategy - they honorably fought one at a time, each one politely waiting in turn until the previous Elemental was defeated. Now in the DL, the rematch is on, but this time with Valvalis calling the shots and all the Elements ready to fight from the start. Cecil isn't backing down, however, and will see how well fellow protagonists from other Final Fantasies measure up against his original team. Chief among the Elements' weapons is Valvalis's amazing Storm, which will put all the so-called heroes on their knees. From there, they'll all be easy pickings for a tidal wave from Kainazzo, or for extra humiliation, Milon's poison. Rubicant, as usual, can scorch to ashes any one character he pleases. And if somehow things should go wrong, Valvalis still has her excellent evasion to fall back on, with no Kain on the opposing side. While Terra's magical assault is certainly a threat, that's only true if she survives to get a turn - and she's not exactly known for her speed. Cecil may have a few tricks in store for Valvalis, however. With angst-bunny badasses Cloud and Squall on his side, Valvalis's HP-reduction tricks will lead to her promptly eating a painful evasion-ignoring Limit Break. Zidane is quick enough to get in some early hits. Terra adds in some gratuitous overkill - the half-Esper can offer resurrection, team healing, and the mighty Ultima to simply blow the Elements apart. And if Rubicant wants to offer her some full healing thanks to her Flame Shield, well, she'll cheerfully accept. Cecil remains an excellent team player, able to offer some healing of his own, as well as the ability to cover a weakened Squall or Terra from Kainazzo or Milon's physical attacks - giving them time to unleash their huge damage. With the Elements' HP reduced for the DL, Valvalis will find her own support falling too fast to be of much use to her. So who wins? The blazingly fast offense of the combined Elements? Or the versatility and power of the Final Fantasy heroes? |

Mepmep Dr. Dre once said that it's sad that the bad guys always die... This does not hold true today, where the Heroes from numerous final fantasy games square off against the 4 fiends. One of these fiends is completely immune to Magic, and takes almost no damage against physical attacks. Yes, Valvalis is a completely imbalanced boss who only fears Squalls Lionheart and maybe Terra's Ultima if you allow it to hit. Terra will live to see a 1/4 damage Ultima, but Rubicant will make sure that Squall doesn't live to see a super powered Limit. Sorry Dre, you were wrong this time.
