{Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
~OK

Imperial Air Force Colonel Kefka Pallazzo has gone completely and utterly mad, sending a wing of specially-armed bombers to destroy Alexandria, under the suspician that Queen Garnet is trying to pollute the "Precious Bodily Fluids" of the Empire's people. Emperor Geshtahl goes to meet with his advisors, where the Alexandrian Ambassador, Beatrix, tells him that if Alexandria is attacked, it will trigger a "Doomsday Device" calling forth every summoned monster to destroy the world as they know it.

Now, the fate of the world rests in the hands of three men: Ivalice Air Arm Captain Malak Galthana, the only person with access to the demented Colonel Kefka; Emperor Geshtahl, whose best attempts to divert disaster depend on placating a drunken Alexandrian queen, fresh from her own bachelorette party; and the former Dilzweldian genius Dr. Tatjana, who concludes that "such a device would not be a practical deterrent for reasons which at this moment must be all too obvious". Will the bombers be stopped in time, or will Kefka succeed in destroying the world?

  • Malak succeeds in stopping Kefka and recalling the bomber squad
  • Emperor Geshtahl is able to get through to Queen Garnet in time to stave off disaster
  • Dr. Tatjana comes up with some scatter-brained scheme to save the world
  • Kefka destroys the world
