The RPGDL's Romeo and Juliet In fair Ivalice, where our story lies, For want of power, civil mutiny Has brought bloodshed beneath endarken'd skies. From forth the fatal loins of these two foes A pair of star-cross'd lovers choose their path; Their love may bloom to cease the deathly throes Or send the malice to a bloody wrath. Zeal and Beoulve, two families of strife Ramza and Kid, the instruments of fate The readers control their path, death or life Shall the land be consumed in love or hate? The answers you with patient ears attend, What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend. |

Lurking Registered User A scene from our semi-shakespearian tragedy: -------------------------------------- "ALAS, WHAT LIGHT FROM YONDER WINDOW BREAKS! 'TIS THE EAST, AND FAIR KID IS THE SUN!" "Ramza, O Ramza. Wherefore art thou belting thy lines out at the top of thy lungs?" "LO! I FIGURETH THAT MY STATS'LL BE NEARLY MAXIMUM IF I KEEPETH SCREAMING LIKE THIS, AND THEN NOBODY'LL BE ABLE TO STOP US FROM ELOPING!" -------------------------------------- Sadly, t'was not to be. Ramza and Kid came from two different worlds. (In Kid's case, literally.) Ramza comes from one of the bloodiest eras of Ivalice's history, and Kid comes from a game in which her romantic interest is possessed by her worst enemy and kills her. Yeah, this isn't going to end well. Or to paraphrase Lynx: "Now, let love bleed!" Peace: 20 Murder: 51 redmage001
