Sephiroth's match this week pits him against a multi-formed Final Fantasy villain much like himself. Sephiroth is at a disadvantage in terms of number of forms (and hence, durability) here, but otherwise this match is every bit of one-sided as his affair with Zio. Between Shadow Flare and his physical attacks, Sephiroth's lethal combination of speed and power is something that few Godlikes can hope to match, and not even Spira's most infamous Unsent Summoner can claim to be one of those few. Godlike's top half is dominated by a quartet of Final Fantasy characters this season, and Sephiroth is ready to prove that he's the best of the bunch.

Having proved that Spiran summoners are superior to Filgaian ones, Yunalesca moves on to her toughest fight yet. Between his boss immunities, speed, and power, Sephiroth is everything Yunalesca hates rolled into one nasty seven-winged angel. But don't count out the caller yet. With healing and the powerful Absorb at her disposal, Yunalesca can keep her impressive HP stock nice and full while she slowly chips Sephiroth's away. And if the swordsman tries to play defensive with Wall, Yunalesca can easily dispel it with a simple physical. This match is far from impossible; after all, what can a simple lab experiment do to one such as her?
