Zophar
(Lunar 2: Eternal Blue) 		 
After humiliating the mad clown Kefka in last season's championship match, Zophar returns to begin another tear through Godlike's ranks, and his first victim will be the unfortunate Yuri Hyuga. While Yuri's harmonixing powers may frighten some of Godlike's less-durable members, they'll do little to Zophar except make him laugh. With the potential to cast five devastating spells per round, including the dreaded Fate Storm, Zophar will quickly and effortlessly beat his puny, mostly- human opponent into the ground, and advance to the next round.

 Japan's foremost Harmonixer returns to the arena with a complete game's worth of new Fusion abilities under his belt, including the fearsome Neo Amon. Of course, none of them mean squat, because he's still sticking with his tried-and-true strategy of transforming into the Dark Seraphim, using For Tomorrow to boost his strength and speed to unthinkable levels, and pummelling his opponent into submission. Up against Zophar, who's already known as one of the most sluggish fighters in Godlike, the speed alone will be enough to ensure Yuri's victory.

Yuri Hyuga. Godslayer. Master of the Seraphic Radiance. Defender of Earth (although he'd adamantly refuse being affiliated with ANOTHER crackpot superhero again, doesn't change the facts of the matter). The Dark God Zophar may well be a bit higher on the foodchain than the typical god of the Shadow Hearts world, but it's still the sort of battle Yuri's built his career out of.
This, of course, means that he eventually got someone to employ him to do it. This also means he can take personal days.
Having realized all this sometime during the off season, Yuri took time to finally wed long-time gal Alice Elliot. The date was set six months in advance, since Yuri never dreamed he's have a job on this particular week. And even if it is Zophar, well, sometimes your long-time gal can be one hell of a lot scarier than some Dark God.
Besides, you can't save the world every time it's in danger. You have to sleep sometime.

From the moment the contestants walked in everyone knew that this would be epic. The crowd was hushed, and then, it was on!

Yuri began by transforming into Seraphic Radiance and using "For Everyone" to increase his abilities before attacking the dark god. Zophar came prepared however, and knew how Yuri fought and what his weakeness was, sp. If his sp ran out, Zophar knew that Yuri would go insane and be unable to effectively fight, so he played defensively, attempting to wear Yuri down.

As the battle went on, Yuri began to to realize that he was in danger of losing, he was running out of sp. Before now, he was concentrating on making his attacks hit, but now he needed to make a gamble. He used up "For the Children", concentrating on making the perfect strike, he suceeded.

The Magic of Seraphic Radiance rammed through Zophar's defenses, dealing enormous damage. After that, Zophar was far too weak to put up more then a token resistance, Yuri had won.

Damn it all to hell. Yuri, my favorite character of all time, gets into the rpgdl and he has to face Zophar. He has no chance.
