The mightiest of the Brood, the champion of all dragons, the Breath of Fire. Ryu has a reputation to keep, and Sarevok should be just another testimony to the blue haired hero's infinite power. While the Bhaalspawn is durable and strong, there's nothing he can do against Ryu's earth-shattering Kaiser Breath or his equally insane myriad of dragon morphs. Sarevok had his time to shine in the Duelling League, but Ryu will put him in his place and guarantee his place in the finals, the last step for a second Godlike belt.

"Pain." No word quite sums up what Sarevok's inflicted on Godlike this season. Slaughtering two highly respected mages is a heck of a start for any new fighter - even one with a pedigree as terrible as that of a Bhaalspawn. With the durability to endure and shrug off even the Kaiser Dragon's mightest attacks, Sarevok can stand forth and strike with his trusty blade over and over. No matter what punishment Ryu issues forth, Sarevok will be there, standing tall and smashing back with all of his god-given might.
DragoonJay In the end, it wasn't Ryu's durability or Kaiser Breaths that did Sarevok in. It was the Bhaalspawn's refusal to adapt.
Let's face it - the DL is weird. That's a generally accepted fact. There are weird things in it, there are weird people in it, and there are weird people who run it. The sooner fighters deal with it, the easier they adapt.
Sarevok, for all his power, isn't quite ready for that.
It's not like it's a "new people" problem. I mean, look at Zeno. She's adapted rather well. And it's not a Forgotten Realms thing... after all, Minsc didn't refuse to play along. And that mind trip? That was all Jade's doing. Sarevok wouldn't have that kind of imagination for torture.
No, Sarevok just can't accept that in order to win, in order to be truly interesting, it becomes necessary to do... things. Even if it's a little embarrassing. Especially if it's a little embarrassing.
So, better luck next time, oh mighty Bhaalspawn. Learn some humility, and maybe a one-liner or two.
