With Lavos down, Yuna finds herself in an unusual version of Godlike: one composed entirely of heroes like herself. She's looking forward to meeting Yuri Hyuga (what woman wouldn't?), but there's another fight first. Like Yuna, Jessica has a an amazing variety of powerful magic, but anything the Alexandrian sorceress can do, the Spiran summoner has an answer for. Magic Burst? An overpriced healing spell against Yuna's fire-absorbing Phantom Ring. Twin Dragon Lash? Good evasion and Protect make it a non-factor. Buffing spells? A game Yuna wouldn't mind playing - not only do hers last longer, she possesses Dispel. And this isn't even bringing up Yuna's far superior healing and lower MP costs...or the advantage of calling Anima at an opportune moment.

It's very appropriate that these two leading ladies should meet for the right to enter the Season XXX finals. Jessica, known for her ability to change her appearance with her...various outfits, is facing Yuna, whose very abilities, from gunfighting to playing cards, are based on changing her clothes. OF course, Yuna's costumes will play little role in the actual fight, since she'll just opt for her Summoner powers instead. So in the end, it's whips and magic against Summons and...more magic. Yes, an all out female mage brawl in Godlike, one everyone has been waiting for! With Magic Burst, Twin Dragon Lash, Bounce, Kasnooze and a variety of other moves, there's no question that Jessica can hold her own and prove she is the stronger of the two in this very appropriate match.

Dark Holy Elf
Y'know, I spent nearly seventy hours on Dragon Quest 8. And the entire time playing the game, I'm not sure an enemy landed an instant death attack on Jessica even once, despite countless attempts.
The results here are obvious. Jessica goes into the match overconfident, sure that nothing Yuna can summon will faze her (after all, Guv can summon three monsters at once, and Yuna only one - how are they even in the same division?), then gets a shot of Pain to the face and dies - both from the attack itself and the shock of seeing an ID attack that doesn't suck.
So Jessica bows out of the competition, and Rhapthorne spends the next week stalking Yuna, begging her to let him study Anima's status attacks so that he can improve his army of dark servants. This culminates in him being handed a restraining order by the Magus Sisters. Or that's what Yuna ordered them to do, but they never were much good at following Yuna's instructions and handed him a Delta Attack instead.
Just another week in RPGDL Godlike, really.
