Season 34, Week 4
Ghaleon
(Lunar Series)

The Magic Emperor held off a trickster god Loki's mighty assault last round, proving that none can stand before him in a contest of spellcasting. Compared to that, Indalecio will pose no challenge at all. With no multi-casting abilities Wiseman's offense will be as naught against Chaos Shield, which absorbs any single attack, no matter how powerful. In fact, that tactic could make this battle too easy for the Magic Emperor, so he may prefer to sit back and coast on his immunity to Earthquake, superior damage, and far superior durability. Maybe the finals will be a worthy challenge for Ghaleon...he's not getting one this week!

The power of the greatest bio-weapon Nedian science has produced has triumphed twice now. But though his victories were hard-earned, Indalecio's most difficult struggle lies ahead: the winningest Godlike of them all, the Magic Emperor himself. Ghaleon possesses magic on par with Indalecio's fearsome Earthquake and Explosion spells, and can match Divine Wave with his own energy sword slices. So it falls on Indalecio to win by exploiting Ghaleon's one weakness, his speed. Indalecio will zip across the battlefield, raining spells and physical strikes on his foe, while the sluggish, barely-mobile Ghaleon is torn to bits!

Taishyr

As it turns out, there -is- a club for tanky mage bosses (the Why Won't We Die Society, otherwise known as WWWDS), and Ghaleon and Indalecio are co-founders. Therefore, as per all WWWDS conflicts, this battle was settled by the rules of the club.

Namely, performing the 999 steps of the WWWDS secret handshake.

Indalecio got to step 182 (using the nearest person as a pogo stick, draw the symbol of the WWWDS society in the earth) before getting launched to the stars by an irate Terra (the nearest person). Ghaleon got to step 553 (naked bird calls) before the panel of judges killed him and disassembled his carcass for his crimes against eyesight.

Ghaleon: 48
Indalecio: 30

As much as I hate to say it (and believe me, I do) I think Ghaleon wins this one. Funny thing is, I think the biggest requirement to beating Ghaleon is being an optimistic teenager with a goddess girlfriend. Go figure.

Enix prefers to make their bosses ridiculously powerful, close to the end. Indalecio is fittingly manic, depraved, and powerful... But Magic Girl Ghaleon cannot be denied! TIME TO DIE!
